It seems all Asylum seekers have to do is get a letter from the local vicar, and BINGO!!!
'Acid attacker' Abdul Ezedi is latest criminal suspect who won right to stay in UK after becoming Christian - as vicars are accused of helping asylum seekers beat immigration system with 'pray to stay' ruse.

This isn't new. Liverpool Bombing Case Reignites Controversy over Refugee Conversions"...[Liverpool] Cathedral has been actively involved in outreach and ministry to a wave of refugees who have come to the UK in recent years, welcoming over 200 as converts in a four-year span, The London Telegraph reported. By 2016, it had begun a weekly service in Persian for refugees from Iran."

I think the only really relevant question here is WHY did the alarm bells not ring in 2018 when this man committed a sexual offence ?, and why was his case not reviewed under the circumstances.
Whether the man is a convert, or Christian or Muslim has nothing to do with it, a person who is likely to commit such offences will not be less likely to commit such offences if he is a different faith.

New law, do not accept conversion to Christianity as a acceptable reason to grant asylum, every time these human right lawyers up their game, the government must stamp it out instantly, it was the human rights lawyers who told asylum seekers about this loophole, along with 'say you are gay, and you will be persecuted if I return'.
These lawyers should face criminal charges, they are aiding and abetting criminals to stay in this country.

Well TBF it has everything to do with it if they are using converting to that religion to circumvent an already flawed asylum process and assure their application is allowed

Sorry posters, I dont get it
Why would a man who supposedly converts from one faith to another faith make any difference to his asylum application.

I agree it shouldn't, but the reason is probably fear of persecution, depending on their country of orirgin. If they have converted after arrival here, then it clearly wasn't their reason for seeking asylum in the first place.

Well the vicar ,Priest or whatever he is gave the acid man his blessing and the asylum panel his assurances the bloke was a devout Christian . The lefty do gooder in a frock is to blame for this nutter being on our streets and should be sent on a mission to convert in Afhganistan . He will soon realise he is on a lost cause .
The bloke is an idiot a fuckwit mind clouded by a lefty religious mantra .

Its taqiyya, an Islamic principal which allows deception and lying.

You claim the fact that he is a Christian convert is irrelevant, but the evidence would suggest otherwise. It 'shouldn't' make a difference, but quite clearly it does. His first two asylum applications quire rightly failed, his third application was successful because he was advised to play the 'pray to stay' card. The point here has been missed I think, which is: After having two asylum applications thrown out, why was he still in the country? If his third application had failed I have every confidence his left wing lawyers at public expense would have begun preparing a fourth asylum application. The asylum system seems to be for show.

In many ways you are quite right Red. The asylum system is broken like pretty much all our public services. It would make eminent sense to restrict the number of appeals to one and to view our acceptance criteria to learn suitable lessons from other countries where approval rates are lower (and presumably the bar is set higher). You have to ask why after many many years of Tory Government, Home Secretaries like Patel and Braverman have not pursued such sensible (if rather boring) reforms instead of wasting so much time, energy and taxpayer money on fantasy schemes like Rwanda that are only good for tabloid headlines. Its almost as if they care far more about their climbing the pole than the interests of the country.

According to a piece in the Times, Ezedi was considered by his Muslim neighbours as a 'good Muslim': “…Ezedi was granted asylum after he claimed to have converted to Christianity, but following the Clapham attack has been described as a “good Muslim” who told people that he wanted to return to Afghanistan to find a wife. He failed to gain asylum status twice but won it a third time when a priest vouched that he was a Christian. However, staff at a Kurdish grocery shop in Byker, an area of Newcastle upon Tyne where Ezedi lived for about a year, told The Times that he would often come in every two weeks to buy half of a halal sheep that he would then cut up and put in his freezer. The staff claimed he told people he wanted to return to Afghanistan to find a wife. They said that he was last in the shop on Tuesday afternoon, a day before he is alleged to have travelled down to Clapham and attacked a woman and two children with an alkaline substance. He was wearing the same blue shirt and black puffer jacket that he was seen in at a Tesco on Caledonian Road, north London, in the aftermath of the attack. The shopkeeper, who did not want to be named said: “Last time I had a talk with him, I asked him why doesn’t get married, he said, ‘I have no money. I have to go to Afghanistan to get married, to be with one of our people.’ ... www.thetimes.co.uk/article/clapham-attack-abdul-ezedi-muslim-search-latest-london-news-j7s67jb95Also in the Times: "...At 7.25pm on Wednesday Ezedi, driving a white Hyundai, pulled up outside the Clapham South Belvedere Hotel, in Clapham, where locals said the woman had been a resident. The hotel has a contract to look after homeless people and asylum seekers."
The hotel is not accepting bookings and the most recent review on Trip Advisor is from March 2020.

We ( meaning woke lefties , Christians and self loathing whites) have taken leave of our senses. We import this kind of social pathogen and wonder why normal people speak out .

Ironic right, you cannot deport Homosexuals and Christians to Muslim countries because they will be persecuted... yet they are free to come here with their prejudices and shocking attitudes towards homosexuals and women... you couldn't make it up!
