If you can avoid watching any of Clint's movies you might yet get the chance. Well, I'm in L.A again in February - so you never know... You must be having to plant a lot of trees.

Why is this our problem - they are in Qatar so unless they decide to trek across the Middle East and half of Europe, then get a rubber boat across the Channel wtf is it to do with us?...

International football is dire. I think most football is dire. Give me George Best dashing down the wing putting a long ball to Denis Law at the back post who heads off the cross bar with Bobby Charlton smacking the rebound into the back of the net from 20 yards. The game has lost its edge and much of its excitement. I think it went when people started crying publicly when their team lost. It is only a game of football despite what Bill Shankly said. Nah cant say Im old enough to remember them glory days of united. And there no denying that Best, charlton, Law was talented players . But they was the exception rather then the norm. Even thou Im not a fan of prem football i support league teams. I love watching man city think they have tatalented players in every position and that can show when they dominated games.

Argentina not looking too impressive so far. One nil up at halftime from a soft penalty and 3 offside goals. Argentina shouldn't be falling victim to Saudi Arabia's offside trap quite so easily. On the plus side their finishing has been superb and I expect them to come out in the second half playing a more intelligent game. Disappointing so far but I'm ready for a big improvement after a half time talk about the offside rule. Saudi Arabia are still in this game and they shouldn't be.

...and as I edited my last post SA scored an equaliser. Maybe there is a God and he's pissed that Maradona used him as a scapegoat for his outrageous cheating. 1-1 Game on.

Referee is ridiculously whistle happy. Yellow card count is astonishing.

Yes!!! Best game yet. 53rd ranked team in the world beat one of the pre-tournament favourites.

Nothing in this match to worry England if they have to play the Argies later in the tournament. Very poor performance against the 53rd ranked team in the world. Take that Galtieri and take that Maradona. You suck. 😆 😆
