Keir Starmer got a knighthood for his work at the CPS but he says he had no knowledge of Saville or Pakistani grooming gangs. Now he says he knew nothing about the post masters being hounded by the CPS on behalf of the Post Office. What exactly was he doing there for this Knighthood?Doing the same as Ed Davey and seeing there was no useful purpose. I have to say they are not alone,what this illustrates is the shortcomings in our political and legal system where mediocrity to the point of dereliction of their duty and even criminality is rewarded with honours and massive bonuses and propelled to greater heights. None of the parties come out of this with much credit but individuals certainly have excelled Lord Arbuthnot for one,iirc Bentley posted that he hoped Vennells wouldn’t be thrown under the bus,she does have a lot to answer for but she isn’t alone and it’s not confined to the post office itself. There will be an election later this year,buggered if I know who to vote for but the horizon is bleak if you’ll forgive the pun but I expect this will soon be forgotten but I hope not or this country can only go further down the plug hole. Vennells was one of many who colluded and one of even more that ignored . Why should she be thrown under the bus to appease the mob and allow others to get away with it . Let’s face it , we only have a few months until the public tire of the story and the outrage wanes . |

We can’t forever let the little people pay the price whilst the culpable escape and prosper,that’s not mob justice but for example why has lord archer kept his place and title,releivng him of that again wouldn’t be mob justice but natural justice. |
