James Cleverly is facing calls to quit after joking about spiking his wife's drink with date rape drug as domestic abuse campaigners blast 'sickening' comments and say 'no wonder women don't feel safe'
Mr Cleverly made the unguarded remarks at a Downing Street reception
He said 'a little bit of Rohypnol in her drink every night' was 'not really illegal'

I wonder how the thousands of females, males and battered wives feel about his little joke. FFS, That labour thing making all the noise has no worry off ever being assaulted or raped. I wonder how some of the spouses feel about their other halves having a genda changes which you support rr? |

I think it was a VERY strange thing to say - and Cleverly seems to be saying a few stupid things now that he's in the spotlight. Apparently Stockport is a "shithole", I think he said, and the Rwanda policy is "batshit" and "not the be-all-and end-all" of immigration policy. Cleverly is obviously a very stupid person. I must admit he always reminds me of a silver-back Gorilla in a suit - not in a racist way of course.
However I reckon that there is some kind of major Labour dirty tricks campaign going on to try and get rid of as many Tory MPs as possible. It's been going on for years - starting with Boris and that Partygate nonsense. The Tories must know that Labour has torn up the rule book and are playing dirty - but some of their MPs are too thick to realise they need to be more careful what they say.
