I think it was a VERY strange thing to say - and Cleverly seems to be saying a few stupid things now that he's in the spotlight. Apparently Stockport is a "shithole", I think he said, and the Rwanda policy is "batshit" and "not the be-all-and end-all" of immigration policy. Cleverly is obviously a very stupid person. I must admit he always reminds me of a silver-back Gorilla in a suit - not in a racist way of course. However I reckon that there is some kind of major Labour dirty tricks campaign going on to try and get rid of as many Tory MPs as possible. It's been going on for years - starting with Boris and that Partygate nonsense. The Tories must know that Labour has torn up the rule book and are playing dirty - but some of their MPs are too thick to realise they need to be more careful what they say. He's always come across as a dimwit to me. His position is one held on tokenism I believe. I agree. But he was correct over Stockton. We all know only too well that if labour ever win a constituency it soon becomes a third world bankrupt shithole. |

It is surely an utterly stupid thing to say, and suggests a lack of intelligence. And of course it is going to be highly offensive to anyone who has ever been date raped after having their drink spiled in such a way. For this latter fact alone, he ought to resign.
What the hell this has to do with Labour is a mystery best known to Jokesy.
Though we could all bet a year's salary that if any Labour MP said such a thing, Jokesy would be leading the charge of the outraged and indignant.
I fail to see what good Jokesy thinks he is doing to his cause by highlighting the utter stupidity and offensiveness of Cleverly. And you couldnt get a more inapt name for somebody short of calling Hitler and Stalin the Chuckle Brothers.
