What you think working class parents can afford the out rageous fees that private schools charge ? Them that can afford to send there kids to private school will still be able to afford the School fees. The only thing labour wiL do is stop the tax burden private schools from getting tax relief. What's wrong with that? So you would have thrown Keir Starmer out on the street and prevented him from fulfilling his potential? - after all what is wrong with that indeed.. To School nearly 30% receive sponsorship or Beauchury and a lot get the kids Grandparents to pay for the School fees . Out of there inheritance money then they Claim a tax Refund on that. It's all a big con. And don't forget how Private Schools Claim there tax relief they claim it has a Chaitry. And there a lot of Immigrant/Foreign students in Private schools. Of course we have been here before with Labour. Anthony Crosland was the architect of scrapping the Grammar School System in 1965. Crosland having (like Starmer) been educated privately. It seems that quality education should not be allowed to the children of the Working Class - a bog standard Comp is good enough for them. |

You keep banging on about immigrants yet fail to answer the key point - time and again we have seen Labour politicians like Starmer who benefited from a private/selective education system trying to destroy those same life chances for other people that they themselves enjoyed.

There was a time when Inquiries and suchlike would have been respected as getting to the bottom of things but since Macpherson the whole issue is clouded by assumptions and conclusions not actually based on the evidence upturned. So an Inquiry finding nothing wrong with Blair is just an exercise in producing so much bumph. To be clear in terms of people hated I would think Blair is top of the list for most British people, he is certainly up there on mine. That is a huge jump from a police enquiry to an invasion enquiry so your scenario makes no sense. Both public inquiries with the supposed view to find out what happened and to recommend further action. |

VAT though is a tax on the purchaser not the supplier. Labour want to make it unaffordable for the average person to afford a private education of the standard that Starmer enjoyed and benefited from. |
