What was the cause of death of David Kelly?
The inquiry concluded that Kelly had killed himself.
I bet Blair was gutted.

Once again what don't you right wingers Understand Blair was aquited of all wrong doing by a Inquiry. End off Unfortunately, Dr David Kelly didn't give evidence. His evidence would have been interesting. You do know that Lord Hutton made a ruling in 2003 to keep medical reports and photographs closed for 70 years. In 2073 all will be revealed. Ever wondered why this has happened? The medical report and photographs are being kept closed for 70 years out of "respect to his family". IIRC his family requested they should not be released. |

Also, what's wrong with liberty? Remember Blair and that odious Alastair Campbell producing a "sexed up dossier", which was their basis for war. It was all embellished, exaggerated half truths. I don't want Blair stripped of any thing, just locked in a cupboard and kept away from any world influence for ever. I believe you have got your history mixed up, The 'sexed up' accusation falsely refers to the 4 min readiness of Iraqi WMD which an inquiry found to be wrong. The 'Dodgy Dossier' was labeled as such because of plagiarism, not because of exaggerated half truths, and was definitely not the basis for the invasion of Iraq. |

End off There was a time when Inquiries and suchlike would have been respected as getting to the bottom of things but since Macpherson the whole issue is clouded by assumptions and conclusions not actually based on the evidence upturned. So an Inquiry finding nothing wrong with Blair is just an exercise in producing so much bumph. To be clear in terms of people hated I would think Blair is top of the list for most British people, he is certainly up there on mine. That is a huge jump from a police enquiry to an invasion enquiry so your scenario makes no sense. |
