It's absolutely scandalous, and what's even more scandalous the police aren't prepared to stop them 'before' they can start the disruption, what sort of police force have we got if they can't track down a mob of Eco warriors who going back to the same place almost every day and there are no police to stop them, and then they turn up like the cavalry 'after' they've got on to the motorway, not sure if some of these police need locking up as well.

I can't understand why there isn't more anger directed at the Just Stop Oil louts. Why are they allowed to block the roads and hold up the transport of people and goods leading to increased prices and food shortages? What are they allowed to delay NHS patients, people attending the funerals of family members and anybody else going about their lawful business?
I'm not saying they shouldn't be allowed to demonstrate. I'm saying they shouldn't be allowed to risk the lives of members of the public to get their own way. Change the law, increase fines for these people then imprison them if they don't pay the fines. One day, it might be your life or that of a loved one at risk as they hold up a fire engine, an ambulance or other emergency help you need. Just Stop "Just Stop Oil"

Redrum I dont even think the tories are to blame for this one. there nithing more then crazy Anichrist "Just Stop Oil is a coalition of groups working together to demand that the government immediately halt all future licensing and consents for the exploration, development and production of fossil fuels in the UK. We must urgently end our reliance on fossil fuels to avoid irreversible changes in the earth’s climate system". Is that so unreasonable, the Tories don't actually have to do it, they just have to make the right noises, something they are very good at.
The disruption would stop overnight. |
