Hamas supporters out in force again today.. There has never been a war where there were no acts of barbarity including rape and sexual assault ever, why is this so special? It is, unfortunately, common practise.

I see, so rape is not a big deal to the Marxists and Islamists and that more women should be encouraged to tear down posters as a demonstration of their support for Hamas.

Do you not know what the word unfortunate means? War is a barbaric business but pointing out that one side does it whilst ignoring the other sides atrocities is not a level argument. I don't know why they tore down the posters neither do you or the poster that made the initial comment. But having investigated further: "In another callous response, campaigners against sexual violence appeared to deny or excuse the rape and sexual torture of Israeli women. Sisters Uncut implied that exposing Hamas’s sexual cruelty – corroborated by the militants’ own footage – was an “Islamophobic and racist weaponization of sexual violence that presents it as an Arab, as opposed to a global, problem”. I can just about see their point.

I didn't say I was going to challenge it. That would be overstepping the mark.

But this isn't about justice for you, it is about some more blood letting and keeping Netanyahu in power until the Israelis are sick of it or someone intervenes on the inoccents behalf.

When I saw Sisters Uncut I thought it was about FGM but I could not find anything as regards FGM and their action. I confess however I read the language in the first few paragraphs and skimmed the rest. Maybe FGM is not highlighted because it is from black and brown people almost in total and as such may, I forget the words, highlights just one group or groups.

No we should, why would you think I think any different? You made a point about it being pro-Palestinian supporters who tore down the poster and they may have been but that was not the reason they tore it down, they tore it down because rape is not just an Arab problem as some seem to believe it happens in every society, religion and colour.

It is being used by Netanayu supporters as yet another reason to kill more innocent people. They might think we will forget about it, but we won't.

...War is a barbaric business but pointing out that one side does it whilst ignoring the other sides atrocities is not a level argument... Stop doing it then.
