... the police are looking for a woman who carried a flag stating "Politicians should not be friends of Israel", I mean seriously?. Perhaps you didn't notice the Israeli Star of David made into a Nazi swastika. That could constitute a hate crime.

Lefty anti-Semitism in action.
I doubt even the usuals will attempt to defend that. I expect their silence to be deafening.

it's inconvenient to the rhetoric.. aah so you admit the police didn’t only target Yaxley Lennons loons but some pro Palestine loons too. they sent the police in in riot gear against those trying to get to the Cenotaph to pay their respects..just let that sink in for a minute. The Police were trying to stop British citizens getting to the Cenotaph on the 11th November... Braverman was right - the Police have double standards in their response.

Yaxley Lennon and his moronic mob wouldn’t know respect if it were tattooed across their eyes. I have little doubt if the police had battered what you call the Palestinian protestors you’d be falling over yourself to congratulate them. The police possessing more sense and faced with hundreds of thousands of them are identifying those spouting hate and will no doubt be knocking on doors in the coming days and weeks. The police did their job as required and Braverman was not the one facing the hordes of people, she was just grandstanding as politicians do across the board in the hope of propelling herself to higher office.

Of course you yet again ignore the facts. Those being blocked by the Police from getting to the Cenotaph eventually broke through and when they were there they behaved totally properly and observed the ceremony with the utmost respect. If only we could say the same about the pro-Hamas hate march.

What you mean like throwing bottles at the police and attacking them is behaving totally properly, you have a warped view of what is acceptable behaviour and breaking through police lines is ok.

Is it illegal to compare Israel to the Nazis? So why weren't they dragged out of the protest and immediately arrested instead of being allowed to carry on with their hate on the streets? What? My question was "Is it illegal to compare Israel to the Nazis?

In a crowd of 300,000+ you are going to get a few nutters and extremists, the police are looking for a woman who carried a flag stating "Politicians should not be friends of Israel", I mean seriously? !00 in 300000 is 0.0333% 126 in 200 is over 60% Braverman should be sacked. So the police are right when they pursue people you don't like and wrong when they pursue people that you do. No, anyone causing trouble, inciting violence or acting violently should be sought out and arrested. Why would you think I would think differently to that? You are attempting and failing miserably, to create a division in my reasoning.

This where the IHRC falls down. "Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis;" This is total rubbish and one that has been argued about over many years. This gives Israel a 'right' that no other country has and is a tool used by the Israeli government to stop criticism. Definition "Hate directed at Jewish people, or cruel or unfair treatment of people because they are Jewish:" When people compare Israel to the Nazis they are not comparing Jews to the Nazis.

That could, as you say, constitute a hate crime, let's see if it gets to a court, methinks not.

Well, only 70% comparing.
