Boris was stitched up like a kipper, his replacements have been unpopular, why would a party get rid of a leader who took them to one of the biggest landslide victories in a General Election?

Gold wallpaper sounds a bit gross, but I have seen worse. And if Boris did go to wild parties and shag everything in sight most of us would think lucky sod.
The left seems to be entering an era of puritanical prigdom in which we are supposed to be having a fit of the vapours because Suella Braverman has shown her ankles.

Strange how Beer Starmer got off with his Beergate, clearly photographed swigging on a bottle of beer, and ordering curries for his 'party' during lockdown, but then when you're the ex-DPP I'm sure you have a few handy phone numbers.

It was obviously not illegal at the time whereas the partying going on in No.10 was. Is it your contention that if you have a meeting at a work event, perfectly legal at the time, it becomes illegal if you have beer with it?

If it was not illegal why did the police investigate in the first place?
Starmer was that pissed he couldn't even remember if Rayner was at the party, and Rayner had to ask the other party goers .... "was I there, I was that pissed I can't even remember'.

The police investigated it, as was their duty, after complaints had been made by the Conservative party, who'd have guessed it the Tories trying and failing, to stitch up Labour. The police found no case to answer.
