Instead of addressing that question you respond with shite like the above. Why respond at all if personal attacks are all you are bringing to the table. Well what do you believe should happen to the Arabs not living there who are not living in another Arab state? Israel to incorporate them with full rights in a single state where Jews and Arabs are equal? A one state solution? Or a two state solution in which the Palestinians have their own state. If neither, what do you want to do with these Arabs? Nothing, because they don't exist, they are the product of someone's imagination. So the Arabs in the west bank don't exist? That's a novel idea but wholly false one. What about the settler land thefts there? What do you think this contributes to any possibility of goodwill or peace? |

I'm not justifying anything - simply trying to understand your position that some land thefts should be reversed but others not. If there is a cut off time for land thefts then what is it? I think simple common sense dictates that for as long as it is considered illegal under international law, it should be reversed. As for cut off points, when you have a situation where successive generations have lived somewhere and the displaced have mostly died, you have a de facto cut off. As these thefts are ongoing with your apparent approval in the absence of any justification whatsoever, it is am injustice happening today which is obviously an integral part of the mutual wrongs by both sides in the region And frankly you are not trying to understand my position at all, you are deliberately trying hard not to for partisan purposes, which is actually more transparent than you think/ May I ask you, when is a land theft not OK? When it is not Israel doing it perhaps? You're against land theft? Good. Speak up for the Ukrainians and condemn Putin whilst you're at it. |

Why would you think I wouldnt? Over Crimea the Russians might have had a legitimate case rooted in history and ethnicity (most of the population there are ethnic Russians and the area was never part of Ukraine until the 1950s when the USSR transferred it for purely administrative reasons). But to simply annex it as they did without discussion or agreement was wrong and typical of Putin. |
