The only way to defeat a group like Hamas is to talk to them. Lol.

A message from an Israeli: "I have no illusions. The international support we received during the first days following the Nazi-ISIS style massacre will soon be exchanged for its "disproportionate response". Jewish blood is cheap in the eyes of many nations. I can only hope that every citizen of Western Europe and America will understand that if we aren't allowed to take care of this monster here and now, it will encourage those among you to do the same to you! Life, freedom and the pursuit of happiness are not things any of these monsters or supporters care about"I'm taking note. How many conflicts have there been between these two parties in 75 years? Has any one of them actually ended the madness? Answering a massacre with a retaliatory massacre contributes nothing to solving the problem. It only entrenches hatred and guarantees continued savagery and mass murder. No, the international community should not allow this to go on. It has to be brought to an end. If they won't end it because they prefer to choose war over peace, the international community should end it for them whether they like it or not.how would the 'international community' stop a terrorist group from fighting? - pity they didn't do something about the IRA, it would have saved thousands of lives.

If the Palestinians had access to food, water, medical supplies, housing and employment opportunities, if their lives were better, their standard of living improved , and if they had freedom of movement, Hamas would have a lot less appeal. Give them something worth losing and you'll improve their interest in making peace.

Forced to live like that, it's no wonder terrorists can manipulate them.

I mean do you really believe that they could reject Hamas even if they wanted two? Iran is pretty rich but Iranians seem to be stuck with the ayatollahs.

So what has the Government in Gaza been doing about this for the last 20 years?. They haven't been able to do a lot such is the stranglehold Israeli holds over Gaza.

Just because there are no guarantees doesn't mean a different approach wouldn't work.

Just because there are no guarantees doesn't mean a different approach wouldn't work. That’s a different subject . If the Palestinians in Gaza would not or could not reject Hamas if they were better off then why would Israel want to facilitate it? There could be a case for keeping Gaza a dystopian wasteland because a richer one would have more resources to destroy Israel.

They have access to to all that - I suspect they would have access to an awful lot more if they stopped electing terrorist organisations to be their government. But Palestinians are as entitled as anyone else to vote for whoever they like. How would you you stop Palestinians voting for terrorists?

Dont be daft - all Israel controls is the airspace and the border between Gaza and Israel. The Government of Gaza could have invested in water utilities and energy supplies instead of using the materials destined for those for weapons to attack Israel. If Israel had been controlling Gaza then I'm damn sure they would have prevented the Palestinian Government from digging up water pipes to turn into missiles to launch at Israel.

They have no airport,no seaport Israel controls that and everything that goes in or out. As to this By not having people like a Netanyahu run Israel who secretly funded and allowed outside massive funding in to Gaza and Hamas. He promoted them to where they are and also blocked two state solutions.

The Palestinians rejected a 2 state solution when Netanyahu and his party were out of office. You really are going to have to find better scapegoats.
