Just two numbers. You can't can you. Its comic. fill your boots - and this is from your source so you cannot complain. Lovely. No complaints. So cost to produce a MWh. Wind about £20.00 Gas about £40.00 Sounds about right. Of course construction costs on gas are lower at the moment because its old tech and wind turbines include a lot of new development cost. Construction costs go down year on year. I wonder if the gas generator construction cost includes pipelines etc.

and yet you are wrong again.. want to have another bash? Nope I'm quite happy. Perhaps you should. Nah - judging by your belief that it only costs £20 to produce a single MWh from a windmill you are obviously way away with the fairies and I'll leave you to your delusions.

Costs are rising by the day.... and to think some fool told me the other day that wind power was cheaper... Tom Glover, country chair of RWE’s UK arm, said the price offered by the Government to wind farm operators must rise by as much as 70pc to entice companies to build.
Developers must be offered between £65 and £75 per megawatt hour (MwH) for the power generated from wind farms, Mr Glover said.

Compared to £100 to £110 for gas. Yes that's cheaper. And still trying to confuse production cost with sales price. You're not in business are you.

Early investment is usually expensive, it is the final outcome that will decide whether or not it was the right investment. IMO, when it comes to green energy we do have to look to the future. Henry Ford had no Idea as to just how much his product would improve over future decades.

And wind power is coming down every year to. on what are you basing this claim - because it certainly is not reality. with regards to your other point - who sets energy policy based on the price of energy at a specific moment in time?
