After Scotland suffers a months rain in a day. Landslides block roads. Thousands of crops destroyed rail lines washed away plus hundreds of houses ruined.
This is not a bit of flooding on an estate built on a flood plain. This is the cost of doing nothing about Co2.
This cost is being repeated across the globe.
There's no such thing as a free ride.

A great deal is being done about it in the UK. I suggest that you contact the Chinese and Indian embassies.

It was a lovely day here in Kent. Scotland has always had worse weather than us.

Meanwhile the UK is doing a great deal to become zero carbon and should be praised for it.

I think most people realise these days that with the amount we have already reduced pollution whatever we do now won't make an iota of difference, it doesn't mean we cannot improve our own eco system though, all this WEF bullshit is getting a little boring.

I am quite proud of what the UK have done, but our improvement has to be mitigated by the fact we were the worst in Europe. We produced much of our energy from coal so improvement on a grand scale came fairly easy. And we are still producing more Co2 per person than France. I'm still proud that we did it. In the meantime Asia's economy has grown like ours did in the 1800's so despite huge moves towards renewable energy they are still producing more Co2. I'm not letting them off they are doing their bit and we must continue to do ours. No more excuses.

Part of what we have done is proven that renewables work and that has lead to a great deal of use across the rest of the globe. We are now doing the same at the next levels, electric cars and heat pumps. As we prove they work well so the 2nd and third world will also follow. (Also America) So that's something to be proud of being British. There ain't much at the moment, most of the civilised world think we've taken a tumble and lost our senses.

You mean the globalists think we should beg forgiveness, I think they are nothing but a bunch of arseholes, hiding behind governments who have become more authoritarian decade after decade. Using net zero as another weapon as part of an arsenal, they can deny it all they like, the evidence is overwhelming.

I think its the future we are saving not the past we are regretting. Still you got to brush off your soap box again.

We are not living in the 1800s , we are living now . We are doing our bit. Talk about missing the point. There was no point . My post pointed that out . Once you start on about our CO2 emissions in the past ,we get into collective guilt and atonement territory. If the Asian is growing like ours did in the 1800s then according to your logic they must immediately assume the collective guilt that you are aiming at us

Talk about missing the point. There was no point . My post pointed that out . No, there was a point it flew way over your head. And now you're going to waffle on in the hope that you can distract from the fact.

I repeat , you never had a point and the waffling is yours “.Once you start on about our CO2 emissions in the past ,we get into collective guilt and atonement territory. If the Asian is growing like ours did in the 1800s then according to your logic they must immediately assume the collective guilt that you are aiming at us” The UK not duty bound to bankrupt or otherwise impoverish itself because of the fact that it pioneered modern technology in the past.
