I agree. My impression of some Unions, like some examples elsewhere, is that it is so often the ones driven by their extremism, the biggest mouths and the smallest brains that work themselves to the top. Please provide unequivocal evidence that the biggest mouths and the smallest brains work themselves to the top of trade unions . "The Left" covers a broad church of opinions, in the same way "The Right" does, so trying to stereotype them is just pointless.
There are a lot of mindless morons about who like to virtue signal that they follow a certain ideology. There is nothing more boring than talking to somebody like that, as they have zero independent thought so you already know their position on every topic.
In reality I think most voters would be classed as centre, as they have a mix of left and right views, depending on what the subject is.

So the NHS is 'control'? The welfare state is 'control'... There have been plenty of fascist, communist states but the Tories have come the closest to it than any other... And yet both of the above were Tory ideas. Oh dear, See2 Mk2, you really don't have a clue, do you.  That's the whole point "What's wrong with the left". Not quite the whole truth though is it? "Churchill's Tories voted against the formation of the NHS 21 times before the act was passed". The Tories have been trying to dismantle the welfare state since it's inception. |
