Hitler came into power on the back of the resentment ordinary Germans felt about the way they surrendered during WW1.
His leadership was based on revenge... revenge on the countries that had held their boot to German necks after the war... and revenge on Jews and Communists who they blamed for brokering the surrender.
If you think this couldn't happen again... just look how easily people swallow narratives that the Tories are evil... rather than demanding that the left gives them a positive vision for the future.

Political stances are like a circle more than a line in the sense that if you go to the extreme left or right you meet and there’s little to distinguish either.

Well that is simple then, don't ignore and remove the people from the political process while chasing your own agenda. Or everyone will buy a Hugo uniform.

Prior to World War 1 Hitler lived in a working men's hostel in Vienna run by a Jewish charity. Here he associated with Jews, wore clothes he got from a Jewish second hand clothes dealer, and participated in a political discussion group that had Jewish members. He even grew a beard, which, with his dark hair, made him look a bit Jewish. One day he got into a fight with several communists in the hostel kitchen and got badly beaten up. A few days later he was handed a virulently anti-Semitic leaflet by someone in the street. It was after reading this that he came to see the Jews as "the enemy". In 1944 he said: "I am, as I have always been, a Catholic ... and will ever remain so". It was his intention, if he had won the war, to use the Catholic church to control the subjugated populations.
The leaflet he read was being distributed by anti-Semitic Catholics. A book had been recently published detailing the influence and power Jews had in German society.
One thought I've had is: "Did the beating he was subjected to by communists cause brain damage?"
One odd bit of info is that during his beer-hall speeches he sometimes ranted: "It is disgusting ... disgusting ... disgusting ... to eat oranges!"
For him the sight of Jews walking through the streets eating oranges was "disgusting!". In the toilet of the house where he was brought up there were oranges with cloves stuck in them used as a toilet deodorant.
Hitler, as a child, is in the toilet having a wank. His father hammers on the door: "What are you doing in there!"
Hitler was very concerned about his diet. I've noticed that adults who have mental health issues are often peculiarly bothered by toilets and kitchens.
If Hitler had had a "good upbringing" ... with his intelligence we now might be lauding him as one of the great leaders of the 20th century.

Hitler was still in the German army when he was asked to infiltrate the German Workers Party.
The anti Semitic diatribes of Anton Drexler struck a chord with him and he went native.
He encouraged Drexler to add the words National and Socialist in front of German Workers Party.
He became so heavily involved he took the party over and Drexler left.
There's a very good drama with Robert Carlyle as Adolf which came out in the early 2000's.

I see the thread was created to troll and attack other members. Do you think Hitler was a member of the master race or a degenerate? well he certainly doesn’t seem to much resemble a six foot three blond blue eyed aryan dors he.

I wonder if Hitler read Henry Ford's publication: The International Jew (Feb 1920) ... which detailed the supposed "evilness" of the Jewish elite? Outside of Russia the country with the most anti-Semitic publications in the late 19th and early 20th centuries was the United States. When WW 1 ended Jews were accused of profiteering during the war. In Ford's publication it says: "... no doubt the Germans will find an acceptable way of dealing with their Jewish problem".
I had a 1929 edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica (published in America) ... there were no entries by Jewish contributors in it. I also had a book published in England in 1941 by an author who described himself as a political advisor to the British armed forces. In the book he said that we would win the war within 2-3 years ... but if nothing is done about the Jews they will take over the country by 1948.

If Hitler had been a better artist we might never have heard of him.

Along with the propaganda that Labour are useless liars. I certainly agree with your implied suggestion that the electorate are easily led. I would add that politically nonsense News Papers take full advantage of that fact. From what research I've done, the final throw of the dice that brought Hitler to power was the world recession that turned into into a depression.

Political stances are like a circle more than a line in the sense that if you go to the extreme left or right you meet and there’s little to distinguish either. The extreme Left and Right meet in their extremist behaviour designed to get their own way. But history shows the extreme Left as spreading their political extremist views and control over other countries in the name of politics for the people. While the extremist on the right are about elitism and the Rightist leaders needs, and often thousands of deaths of their citizens who disagree with them. In Hitler's case it was about expanding the superiority of the Germanic race and their way of life. His bottom line was elitist superiority. In short, Left supposedly for the benefit of all working people around the world. Right, Elitism, actively looking after the rich and influential citizens in the country.

We currently have a religious terrorist group receiving retribution for their invasion, wholesale butchering, raping and denigrating in a country with a different religious background. Their invasion is based upon their hatred of a non-Muslim group in a Muslin dominated part of the world that have the audacity to stand up for themselves.

That seems to be the nub of it, most Arabs will accept Arab dictators of almost any sort and any atrocity, but a Jewish government is unbearable even one that has made efforts to be inclusive within the framework of a Jewish state.
