I had to go over to Torbay this morning. I did what I had to do which was a bloody knightmare because of all the frigging roadworks headed back for the ferry at Kingswear and saw the crabbers coming in met them on the docks and purchased two cock crabs and a couple of lobsters for about a third of the price that we did when we had to pay the EUSSR tarifs. Crossed over to the steam packet for a swift single cardi & coke got both crabs dressed by their chef for the price of a pint and back home across the ferry. Guess what's on the menu tonight guys? She who has to be obeyed will be more than happy when she gets home tonight nod nod wink wink...

Nice one, we don't have fish, I can have but my other half can't, she gets a mad reaction if she eats shellfish or certain types, it all started when she had a MRI scan using iodine contrasts, FFS she was a mess for months, hands/feet/face puffed up, rash everywhere, thought she was a gonner.
Enjoy tonight, you could be on for a fab desert lol

There were never any tariffs to pay for crab or lobsters caught in UK waters and landed in Brixham (?). Not quite sure what you are referring to there. If the price has dropped by 2/3, it can only be because the fishermen are now unable to export their catch to Europe. If that is the case, don't celebrate too much, they will not be in business much longer. Hope you enjoyed your meal ....

We had to pay the tarif at the keyside and fish prices hace risen. Yet another bunch of crap. See the link below the fish market had already been expended just about 15 years ago and they have to extend it yet again.

If you knew the faintest thing about tariffs, you would know that your suggestion that there were tariffs on UK fish landed in UK. You are talking utter nonsense.
Fish prices that in your OP had fallen 66% have now apparently risen and your own link discusses how Brexit was bad for the towns fishermen.
Brigham fish market is well run and as your article explains is attracting business from other UK ports. Much of that business has diverted from Plymouth where the owners are deliberately running their market down as in the medium term they can make more money from the site from building flats than landing fish.

Do a little research and educate yourself, I see you ignored that the little cottage industry cider makers are no longer here thanks to your beloved EUSSR?
Edit. Have you found out why yet? It's simple enough even a 10 year old could work it out.

Can't you give a teeny clue as to how it came about that UK fishermen were paying tariffs on fish caught in UK waters and landed in the UK? Inquiring minds want to know.

If you think the loss of the cider cottage industry was bad, just take a look at the list on the next page. And that's just this year. Viva la Brexit indeed!
