Most of us do not want to, we are quite happy with the Union, devolution seems to have been an error in that the progressives get to act out some of their control fantasies and watch Scottish Education, once the envy of many, go down the pan. can you back this up please sandy? The last referendum vote was 9 years ago. In that time , the national party has constantly won every election , and of course the majority of scots voted to remain in the eu. Recent polling by find out now had 52 % of scos wanting out of your uk , with the majority of scots consistently wanting the scottish parliament to decide if scotland has another indy referendum.
I do find it strange that there is a demand for Independence that immediately will be seconded to a rather more distant supranational power. Deciding which parliament should decide if there is referendum is not the same as voting for independence. We have had a definitive measure where it was agreed the Union has the power to make the decisions as regards foreign relationships like the EU. The nature of a Union is that some gives you want you want and some blocks what you want. We found that out in the EU for a very long time.

The last devolution referendum was 25 years ago.
Hold another.
Use loaded, leading questions and steer Scotland towards abolition of devolution. Problem over.

You want to force a devolution referendum on scotland , against the wishes of 92 % of scots , who largely trust the scottish parliament on many issues more than your parliament ,with no political party to put it into a manifesto or do the heavy lifting of selling it in an election simply because devolution offends your british sensibilities.
meanwhile , you want to deny scots an opportunity for another independence refernendum , despite the snp constantly winning elections on an indy manifesto , with the last indy ref 9 years ago , becuase it offends your british sensibilites.
right ho vinny.

The nature of a Union is that some gives you want you want and some blocks what you want. We found that out in the EU for a very long time. why do you find it strange? The vast majority of scots find it normal , so once again you are in a minority sandy , of a dissapearing unionist baby boomer block.
i addressed your earlier claim in my earlier post. the majority of scots currently support holyrood deciding on when to have an indy ref , and 52 % support indepdence. You do understand 52 % is a majority?
once again you will need to translate this for me as its unclear. The rest of your post is nonsensical , as the uk was never in such a subservient position within the EU as scotland finds itself in the uk.
