GP to be monitored by a 'responsible officer' after asking Muslim woman to remove veil
A General Practitioner is being forced to be monitored by a “responsible officer” after asking a Muslim woman to remove her veil.
Dr Keith Wolverson was suspended for nine months after being found guilty of or admitting to a total of 17 charges of misconduct relating to incidents between January and May 2018.
The incidents involving the GP, who was working as a locum at a walk-in centre at Royal Stoke University Hospital, concern urgent care centres in both Derby and Stoke.
Dr Wolverson asked a patient to take off her niqab three times as he could not hear her describing her daughter’s symptoms.

Best if he politely just said I cannot hear nor understand what you are saying,until an interpreter is available you need to bring someone who can communicate for you.

They have no problem speaking clearly when they are asking for houses, cars and benefits.

Best if he politely just said I cannot hear nor understand what you are saying,until an interpreter is available you need to bring someone who can communicate for you. Sure But asking to her to take a piece of cloth in front of her face should also be possible, without ending up with a suspension. |

The question is why should her husband be upset enough to complain when the doctor asked her to move the piece of cloth .
The answer is somewhere in the medieval cult that he follows .

They have no problem speaking clearly when they are asking for houses, cars and benefits. How can a GP offer a valid dianosis to anyone who is wearing a bin liner? It seems to murder the innocent is brushed under the carpet but those who are alian to our culture are allowed a Polece presence FFS. |

Why should he require saving in the country he has to carry out his working day in? Yet again we have to pander to alians who have no intention of fitting into our culture and ways. Maybe GP's from now on should refuse these alians when they turn up at their surgeries or practices.. |
