Just Stop Oil activists are boasting their tactics have shaped Labour Party policy, it emerged last night.
They were secretly taped at a meeting claiming a stunt outside Parliament had influenced the Opposition's stance.
Larch Maxey said Labour 'suddenly shifted' to vetoing new North Sea oil and gas projects after JSO blocked London roads for weeks.
He suggested the shift had empowered the group to 'escalate to high-level action'.
Energy Secretary Grant Shapps last night accused Labour leader Keir Starmer of surrendering to JSO's 'criminal tactics'.

Top man, Mr Maxey. He's doing an excellent job for the Tories. Anyone who thinks Labour has the next GE in the bag needs to think again. More and more of these people will come out of the woodwork as the next GE approaches. And every one another nail in Labours coffin. Hopefully during the run up to the next election there will be clear water between the gas & oil supporting Tories, and Labour supporting net zero and left wing eco mentalists. But to be honest, I don't think Starmer is that stupid, he knows if Labour goes into the next election supporting net zero and eco mentalists, they will lose. I think as the months pass Labours approach to net zero will soften. Starmer has already binned his £28 billion a year 'green revolution'. |

Let's hope they will sell fruit and veg rather than the regurgitated bullshit they usually try to flog to the usual eco dumbfucks.. |

If it's got 'green' in the title, it's just a money making scam. Actually it has to say eco, even oil products now say it often. Probably the same marketing companies who say they are actually looking after everyone's interests. Which amuses the feck out of me. |

I wonder how the ECO zealots will keep their electric lemons running whithout oil based products.....Yes there is synthetic oils and greases but they cost ten fold to what oil based lubes cost. |

ULEZ IS a Conservative policy, put together by Boris Johnson and supported by most Tory members on the London Assembly, as well as by successive Conservative governments.
But because it is a Labour mayor who now wishes it to cover all of London, its suddenly a Labour plan, and the the sly, opportunist Tories are attempting to backtrack on something which was always THEIR baby.
Double standards to accuse Starmer of dithering over the extention
