Regarding electric buses and other eco buses. ![]() My suggestion: Tell the governments of rainforest countries that their forests are vital to the future of the planet and must be protected, if they need money from the developed world to guarantee the survival of those forests, they can negotiate. The developed world has money. But, if they do nothing, and they continue to destroy those forests, climate sanctions will be imposed. A little stat for you, before you get too excited with all those explosions is, for every 1 EV there are 10 petrol cars that catch fire.
However, the difference is that the lithium fire generates its own oxygen so is hard to put out, i.e. you can't just starve it of oxygen with a load of normal foam or what have you.
So it is kind of swings and roundabouts. What do you prefer: 10 time the number of fires in your garage or 1/10th of the number but ones you can't put out?

ULEZ IS a Conservative policy, put together by Boris Johnson and supported by most Tory members on the London Assembly, as well as by successive Conservative governments. But because it is a Labour mayor who now wishes it to cover all of London, its suddenly a Labour plan, and the the sly, opportunist Tories are attempting to backtrack on something which was always THEIR baby. Double standards to accuse Starmer of dithering over the extention Yup. Moving the border from the North and South Circular way out to near the M25 was done by a Labour mayor. The responsibility lies with him. |

That does not change the fact that ULEZ works and it is a Tory policy that they are condemning for political purposes. The original meaning of carpetbagger which is of American origin and references people like Steamer. |

Rather hilarious to see Labour supporters criticizing the Tories for a u-turn when Starmer has done a u-turn on every single policy he supported.
