The street is a couple of miles if that from where my father lived in his early teenage years when Hitler was sending squadrons of Dorniers and about half a dozen V1s to ruin his Father’s time in the office making the radars work to spit the luftwaffe I wonder if either ever thought the place would resemble the Wild West under a labour fiefdom

I'm surprised this thread hasn't attracted more interest. Then again, stabbings and shootings in the wonderfully multicultural city of Londonistan are a daily occurrence these days. I see the victims have been named as Saydi Abu Sheikh, aged 23, and Zakariya Jeilani Mohamed, 32. No doubt the shooter/s names were similarly unpronounceable to anyone not from Londonistan.

Watching the news last night, the Police and local residents think it was an organised Assassination gang warfare Rappers have been taunting each other on social media also drugs related, not wise to be out on the streets of that area at night.
It is also considered that the attack was planned whilst Fireworks were being let off to celebrate Diwali to cover the noise of the shots

It is also considered that the attack was planned whilst Fireworks were being let off to celebrate Diwali to cover the noise of the shots This is what mass immigration has done to London, and what mass immigration is bringing to the rest of the country. I'm convinced that generations to come will look back to the early 21st century and ask, why did they allow it to happen.

I am no longer shocked with what happens in London and other Cities or large towns in the UK anymore, listen to the news and just shrug another one dead or another kid dead another gang fight, he disrespected me. whatever
No Government to date has put in place a good proper Imiigration Policy over the years, nor have they list tend to the people and their concerns, then we were dragged into the EU without asking the people Freedom of movement, Labour under Blair openly and deliberately encouraged more people to emigrate here.

It's hard to see the motivations of the government policy here in terms other than outright sabotage of the already resident population.

While it was a horrific attack, i don't see how one can lay that at Khan's feet. What has he done to stop it apart from whistle from his arse? I don't see how he, or anyone for that matter, can stop every instance of random act of violence. Perhaps you could explain what you think he should have done by now, that would have prevented this and any other incident of a similar nature from occurring with 100% certainty

Perhaps you could explain what you think he should have done by now, that would have prevented this and any other incident of a similar nature from occurring with 100% certainty Allow the police to go in hard and do their job. If necessary, sack the current time wasters in the management who want the police to do anything but act as police. If this change in direction causes consternation, highlight the objectors as being the source of the problem. In other words, he should use all the powers and influence he currently uses to disable the police, to instead enable and empower them to do their job.

Setting aside all that, no matter what he says and does to enable the police, what you do reasonably think he could have done, and can do to stop every violent incident will 100% effectiveness. How could anyone exert the level of control needed to stop a random guy going out with a machete and attacking a random stranger with no provocation.

All you are doing here is erecting an artificial wall of unaccountably - you even attempted to make an absurd standard ie that The Khan be shown to have a direct influence on this crime in particular.
You are aware he is the mayor? My answer is essentially correct - at the moment he uses his influence to disable the police's ability to tackle crime. If he instead used his considerable influence (as Mayor) in the opposite direction, things might well be different in London.
My apologies, Colbobs, I accidently edited your post
