Whoever it was that said that we needed a general election, years ago, was able to see the serious faults in the Tories which continue to manifest now. Why was she able to see it, and the current crew cannot? Its like Loony Tunes with the bloke with six shooters and a big moustache shooting holes in his own boat, then groaning.
A lack of insight resulting in your own demise is a description of a serious illness, or a subconscious suicide, that you have cancer but conitnue to smoke, it might even be called a psychosis, which will be ably highlighted soon my the figures of immigration that should be in the tens of thousands.
But are in millions, how yampy is that, and no reasons given as to why, just swallow that. There is no doubt we need the Tories out, they have become the problem not the solution. In football parlance, a losing team needs a clearout, the problem is there is no talent bucking for the top. Or is there, anyone know of such?

Isn't the first cry from the supporters of a consistently losing football team usually: "Sack the manager"...?

Isn't the first cry from the supporters of a consistently losing football team usually: "Sack the manager"...? Not always. Sometimes it's "Sack the board". I think after 5 managers it's now apparent it's the latter here.

As I keep saying, the conservative's biggest problem is the fact that they're not very conservative.

As I keep saying, the conservative's biggest problem is the fact that they're not very conservative. The problem with the current lot is that it’s difficult to see what (other than staying in power) it is they are trying to conserve. Population well-being and happiness, Britain’s respected position in the world, and even democracy are all being slung overboard as the current administration covers up the errors and misdeeds of the preceding Tory leaders in its efforts to hand on in there…

They just run from one crisis to another trying to put the fires out.

They just run from one crisis to another trying to put the fires out. Sunak is too vague too grey on issues that are important to Conservative voters and traditionally very black and white for Conservative politicians, issues such as crime and punishment, and illegal immigration. I think this is because he is not a centre right Conservative, first and foremost he is a globalist, and in my opinion he still has at least one foot in the EU.

I think your idea of a conservative is a bit dated. True in the past Conservatives were more "Lock em up and throw away the key" but they learnt that it didn't work. It didn't reduce crime it made criminals more desperate. The things that drive crime are not a lack of fear of getting caught but a lack of a reason not to commit crime. Modern Conservatives know this, but still try and paint an image of being hard on crime that satisfies their supporters who don't know it. Not sure what you mean by a globalist, it seems to have become your new word for bad. Are you saying you want the UK isolated from the world?

You're a lefty who doesn't really think he's a lefty. I'm not suggesting any keys should be thrown away, but there should be a deterrent, sadly there isn't. Since multiculturalism was forced upon us crime is getting worse and the penalties seem to be getting more lenient. I mean, how many times does a black youth have to be caught with a knife before he goes to jail? This country is going to ratshit because the diversity bar is constantly lowered. Feltham YOI is full of black thugs, but outraged lefties never ask what crimes they committed, they just blame the 'racist' system. A judge in Nottingham said he often sentences black youths to more lenient sentences than they expected because they more often come from broken homes and become involved in gangs. What is it with black youths and gang culture? Are you thrilled that the Albanian Mafia run serious crime in this country? They are here because they know we're soft. They know if they're caught they will be treated with kid gloves and of course the tax payer will pay for a lefty lawyer to defend them. But if an Englishman needs legal aid and is earning more than £12,000 a year, he doesn't qualify. He earns too much. The legal aid bill for illegal criminals was £828 million last year. I think it's time we took the kid gloves off. I think people in this country have had enough of EU criminals and lefty lawyers taking the piss, and I think we need a proper centre right Conservative government.

I go along with the general thrust of your argument Red, but thought it worth mentioning that the 'Albanian Mafia who run serious crime in this country' are not actually from the EU.

It didn't reduce crime... Yes it did. ...it made criminals more desperate... Proof? ...The things that drive crime are not a lack of fear of getting caught but a lack of a reason not to commit crime... Utter cobblers.

Have to say I giggled at the The legal aid bill for illegal criminals bit. As opposed to legal criminals presumably. We got used to these sort of drunken overnight ill-informed rants from our friend but at 8.30am?? Things have obviously progressed during my time away.

You wish I was a leftie Red, but I am talking facts. Throughout the 18th century the punishment for crimes became more and more severe, but crime just grew. The saying 'Might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb' was literal. If the punishment for a minor crime was excessive, then the punishment for a major crime must be worse. You quickly reach the death penalty for fairly moderate crime. I would ask you to read up a bit, but I know you wont. I know you prefer to just think of anyone who thinks your wrong as a leftie.
