It will be all the same madness for the next few days as the Westminster party try to turn out voters to vote for the same thing they never want. Or time to boot him up the arse Has he ever kept to a single pledge he has made? more shit for sir kneel a lot Starmer braces for civil service verdict on Sue Gray's recruitment as his chief of staff today saying he is 'confident' no rules were broken - but Tories warn he 'has serious questions to answer' www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12036465/Keir-Starmer-braces-civil-service-verdict-Sue-Grays-recruitment.html

He's the most dishonest, lying, sniveling, unpleasant, uncharasmatic Labour leader in history, and that's saying something, the public think he's just a unfriendly liar, and they are spot on.

So on the one hand, we've got a newspaper report quoting a single, unnamed source, versus a party leader who's just reiterated his pledge on national tv, knowing full well that if he's lying it gets thrown back at him forever more. Maybe it's time to give Mr S the benefit of the doubt? Of course. Keir Starmer says Labour will abandon pledge to scrap tuition fees

Silly post ^^^ There are many pledges made by Starmer which like the pledges of many actual governments in the past that may never see the light of day. The very obvious point mist by those who wish to miss it is that THE ECONOMY WILL DICTATE THAT WHICH CAN BE DONE AND THOSE THAT WILL TAKE A LITTLE LONGER TO DO. And some may never be done if Brexit fails the UK. A new government doesn't know the full circumstances of the economy until it sees the books, which is why manifestoes are not regarded as absolute promises. Sue Gray's situation lends itself nicely to the mud slinging Tories, knowing that the more they throw the more some of it will stick. Its something the Tories are well practiced at. Reasonable people will wait for the eventual outcome on the Sue Gray affair.

But its not a broken promise .. is it ?If Keir Starmer went into the 2024 general election with this particular committment in the manifesto, and won, and then renaged on the promise, it would then be a "broken" promise. But if a prevously committed policy is taken out of the YET TO BE PUBLISHED manifesto, then how could it be a broken promise. Times change, priorities change, commitments change, and my own personal opinion is that there are far more important issues which need urgently resolving, and which will require money, like for example the very sorry state of our NHS. He's playing to the uni audience for votes.

Starmer had a witch-hunt on Johnson, because he couldn't beat him fair and square in any of the polls, Johnson was still more popular than Starmer during the partygate fiasco, so Starmer had to make sure he was ousted, by foul deed.
Well this is all going to come back and haunt him, Sue Gray will crumble she already looks as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs, Starmer is going to find himself in far more shit than Johnson was over partygate. Bribing the head of a inquiry is a very serious matter, in fact it's criminal, and it's even worse accepting the bribe, let's see if his buddies at the civil service or his mates at CPS will get him out of this one, or maybe this is even too hot for them to handle.

Keir Starmer says Labour will abandon pledge to scrap tuition feesMy take is that he believes he'll be the next PM, so has retracted now rather than later. If he maintained his bullshit he would be challenged about during the campaign where he'd end up totally slated. Free tuition would cost an absolute forture under the current university business model. They have free tuition in Scotland, at everyone else's expense, because they only make up a fraction of the British population, but to apply it UK wide just wouldn't work unless the number of people going into higher education was drastically reduced. University in England is basically a service and source of income now, and even if he only made it free for British people he'd be called racist. Obviously, it's OK for Scotland to deny the people in England, because of double standards.

LABOUR are of course the party that INVENTED tuition fees.
While Tony Blair was conning people with his ‘edukashun, edukashun, edukashun’ mantra designed to make the unemployment figures look good by hiding half the school leavers in university campusses for three years, ‘not flash, just Gordon’ was working to strip said institutions of their funding, using a classic borrow now pay later model PFI entrepreneurs were furious they hadn’t thought of
That These bastards knew it was a fucking con is obvious by the simple fact the same budget changed the bankruptcy laws to ensure you could not avoid the debt by going bankrupt.
That the degrees were worthless is obvious. In the 1970s i benefitted from taking a degree in a subject you simply had to have a degree in to do the job i wanted to do. The tax bill i have been slapped every year since - apart from the years labour destroyed my business and the years i spent near blind waiting for a labour run welsh nhs to fix my near blindness has repaid that state funding twenty or mire times over. But over three quarters of todays ‘degrees’ are either bollox or the info they provide was gained by on the job learning sorted by an employer.
Back in the days when i was about to leave school large numbers of the degrees offered were in subjects calculated to benefit the country and foreigners coming here to gain that education were charged a fortune and FIRMLY sent back home afterwards, where they could apply to immigrate here with those skills if they wished.
Today too many are allowed to see a UK degree as a right to remain.

Opposition leader being accused of a which hunt against the leader of the opposing side? At least that's a chuckle worthy comment. Johnson was a pathetic leader starting with the unnecessary deaths from Covid in Jan 2020. What foul deed are you referring to? Why are you posting a load of unproven garbage about Starmer and Gray? Have you lost your marbles?

Today too many are allowed to see a UK degree as a right to remain. One point you miss is the destroyed state of State schools caused by Thatcher's Grant Maintained School system that greatly reduced the funding for most state schools. This was brought to the attention of Blair a Co. by the CBI complaint around 2003 that too many people around the age of 23 couldn't even fill in an application form for a job properly. Blair's Education x3 saw a huge investment in state education.

You are so sure of guilt, which it seems to me is based upon insinuations, possibility and or gossip. Show me the PROVEN evidence that has already PROVED to you that there is guilt. If you can't then you should think twice before posting your opinions as facts. If you can then I will join you, can't be fairer than that. In the meantime please do not post any more lying comments about me. But you are right, I prefer to wait for the facts to come out. IF Starmer and or Gray are shown to have done nothing wrong then IMO you will never accept the truth preferring to keep on slinging mud at them. For no other reason than that is what you want to do.
