A large proportion of those claiming Asylum do come from Albania, and as stated in several other topic threads, there ought to be a Fast-Track processing for people from what are essentialy safe countries, I personaly see no reason for anyone from Albania to claim asylum here. The question therefore is - WHY is there a huge backlog of Albanian asylum seekers ? The system is not working, the processing is taking far too long, and in my opinion, all or most Albanians should be returned back to Albania. And who is it that kicks up enough fuss when the UK tries to deport this unwelcome dross?

The Frogs should have taken them back to their country and not ours. We pay those frog arseholes to keep this shit out of our country and all they do is push more of them on to us. Why should the French take them back to France? These people have a right to go where they want if claiming asylum. No they do not have the right, they can be stopped at any time by any force in any safe country and detained. They can then claim asylum. The fact the French do not detain them is that they wish them to become a UK problem and not to claim asylum in France.

You are actually advocating that France should take responsibility for our problems with these people crossing the channel. And that would be a case of dumping OUR problems with migrants onto the French who already have their own problems with migrants. The migrants will find ways to migrate from country to country, they don't need help from the French. Your analogy does not face up to the often overwhelming problems that actually exist. They are not ‘ our’ migrants . They are on only ‘ our’ migrants when they are here. My analogy is perfectly fine . Your problem is that you can’t address it. Migrants in France have no doubt passed through many countries before they arrived at the channel, at which point some decide to continue on their migration. They then become our problem, because the French have no responsibility to end their migration. Your contrived analogy is not just simply wrong, it is completely ridiculous. But I know how your mind blanks out when you convince yourself that you are right about something you have got wrong, so I will leave you to stew in your own self-delusion.

You are not quite intelligent enough to address it. The French are aiding and abetting criminal gangs. They are facilitating illegal crossings into the UK . They are passing their problems to the UK. If squatters we’re intent to occupy your house and your neighbours allowed them through their front door and then helped them climb over their fence into your garden , would that be ok? Of course it wouldn’t .

I suppose the usuals will blame Brexit for the ferry's delay.
French warship orders cross-Channel ferry to change course so it can escort small boats containing 90 migrants and hand them over to Britain Warship's officer told ferry to make a detour so it could hand over 90 migrants Controversial manoeuvre delaying ferry's journey happened in fog at 10.27am
A cross-channel ferry was forced to change route by a French warship on Easter Sunday so it could escort two migrant boats to the UK, the Daily Mail can reveal.
The P&O ferry Spirit of Britain was told to make the detour so the naval vessel could hand over 90 migrants to the Border Force craft Typhoon waiting to bring them to Dover.
The controversial manoeuvre, delaying the ferry's journey, happened in thick fog at 10.27am.
In the message to the P&O ferry, the warship's female officer says in stilting English: 'I am currently ahead of you for three nautical miles. About to start operation with two small migrant craft and Border Force Typhoon. Is it possible for you to take a wide berth on your port side?'
The Spirit of Britain's officer responds by correcting her estimated distance between the vessels saying it is five nautical miles. He adds: 'Unfortunately, due to the shipping traffic we can't come to port in restricted visibility. So, we will alter course to starboard.'
If you read the article instead of the sensationalised headline you would understand what happened not what the Mail thinks happened. It was foggy, steerable ferry was asked to change course because an unsteerable dinghy was close by, French on hand to assist if anything happened. Every Captain of any vessel is responsible for their crew and vessel , Maritime Law dictates that they have to assist any vessel in trouble or danger, that is why the Captain of the French Naval vessel had to alert shipping not just the Ferry but every other he could see on his radar especially in foggy conditions, the Channel is the busiest waterway in the world , it takes larger vessels such as tankers a long time to slow down some times two or three miles course , they could hit a small craft such as the rubber dinghy and not even notice it, rubber dinghy's are steerable, but when overloaded they are slow to respond and manoeuvrer

According to the Express this is part of the conversation between the French Naval Vessel and the P&O Ferry Captains " The warship's female officer told the P&O Spirit of Britain's officer in broken English: "I am currently ahead of you for three nautical miles. About to start operation with two small migrant craft and Border Force Typhoon.
"Is it possible for you to take a wide berth on your port side?"
The P&O officer noted that the French officer had made a mistake in calculating the correct distance, telling her it was actually five nautical miles.
He added: "Unfortunately, due to the shipping traffic we can't come to port in restricted visibility. So, we will alter course to starboard."

The French do not stop them because they know they are on the way to the UK and if they stop them and try to deport them they will claim asylum in France. The EU are visiting their lack of border controls upon the UK and facilitating an invasion force free passage through their territory which hardly gels with the EU mission to be a good neighbour. The Germans asked for free passage through Belgium in 1914 to invade France, the Belgians told them to take a hike and lost a lot of their men killed or wounded. That is being a good neighbour.

They are breaking EU law by travelling and crossing borders. The EU states clearly its intent to be a good neighbour and how should we view a country or a Union that allows mass movement across its jurisdiction of people who may be hostile to our country. On such things wars have, and could, start.

Anyone would think that you actually want them to think when they'd rather just angrily emote.
