The literal meaning is what is happening is in your head as many of us have found out to our cost. The actual meaning is what she said and no way does it imply only Muslims, as Muslims are not even mentioned. Your inference is all wrong. FFS Sandy this sad denial of you and your fellow travellers is deplorable For the benefit of those whose first language wasn't English or are in sad denial: ''What we've seen is a practice . . .' Clearly refers to a single practice as covering all the group child sexual abuse . . .whereby vulnerable white English girls sometimes in care, sometimes who are in challenging circumstances, being pursued and raped and drugged and harmed by gangs of British Pakistani men who have worked in child abuse rings or networks,' Clearly says it is only ethnic Pakistani men who were to blame. My first language is indeed English and I would hasten to correct you. 'What we have seen is a practice' (not the practice but a practice possibly one amongst many). As in what we see is a man, not the man, but one amongst many. Not the single practice covering all group child sexual abuse.

I suggest you watch the whole 90 seconds passage from 4.20 in the interview. Absolutely no doubt the words she used blamed the whole problem on 'British Pakistanis' www.youtube.com/watch?v=us4wWNUhdgs

And Labour aren't coming out well of recent communications either. Well said Kevin Maguire (veteran leftie journalist) for calling this out for the gutter level and dishonest tactic it is by Labour

Pakistani grooming gangs exist, they are a problem, they are not the only problem. BUT in the 1990s and 2000's, a politicised left wing culture of ignoring them resulted in the situation becoming catastrophic, and a massive breakdown of trust which shouldn't have happened (because most Pakistanis aren't nonces) occurred. For a time, the only people talking about the gangs, were the BNP. When the only people talking about a very real problem, are a bunch of boot boys, it's a really bad situation.

Absolutely no doubt the words she used blamed the whole problem on 'British Pakistanis' www.youtube.com/watch?v=us4wWNUhdgs'What we have seen in grooming gangs is a practice evolve whereby etc etc' How you get that to be it is only British Pakistani men is a literal step into English that flies in the face of anything close to normal speech, even for the most precise speaker of the language. Try 'what we have seen in football is a practice whereby teams go abroad for their better players.' Does that mean every single team without exception or does it mean that it is happening in the game? And the next part may qualify that statement. She then qualified her own statement by giving background information as regards victims and perpetrators and cover ups. You are trying too hard to be pernickety and blame people for your own narrow interpretation and not try and understand what is being said, and actually meant. She is not sailing too close to the wind or cutting too near the bone. Language is not a literal game, it is a demand and supply most especially when a questioner interrupts as often as possible.

BUT in the 1990s and 2000's, a politicised left wing culture of ignoring them resulted in the situation becoming catastrophic, and a massive breakdown of trust which shouldn't have happened ( because most Pakistanis aren't nonces) occurred. For a time, the only people talking about the gangs, were the BNP. When the only people talking about a very real problem, are a bunch of boot boys, it's a really bad situation. The term "pakistani" to describe these gangs was first used in the Jay Report where they referred to the gangs being of "overwhelmingly Pakistani heritage". It also said that the others involved were Afgnans and Bangladeshis. Basically the common factor was is that they were all muslims (or from a muslim culture). Unfortunattely no one is willing to grasp the nettle of blaming a religion for a problem - despite the fact that it's absolutely obvious that this kind of behaviour is positively encouraged in the Koran. And I think it's about time that the politicians confronted the fact that this is cultural problem that is rooted in Islam, just like terrorism. Having sex with children is not regarded as wrong in the muslim culture - the Prophet himself is known to have indulged in it and he married a 6 year old. And non-muslim women are commonly regarded as prostitutes in Islam. So the fact that muslim gangs are abusing young non-muslim girls shouldn't really be much of a surprise - yet some people continue to deny the obvious. Indeed muslim children are taught in madrassas that white women are scum - as has been shown in undercover videos. And the (very few) "Pakistani" gang members who have been prosecuted have openly stated that the girls are "scum" and are to blame for what happens to them. They show no remorse and don't believe they have done anything wrong. As you say "most pakistanis aren't nonces" but a very high proportion are. The number of muslims involved in abuse of girls in Rotherham represents a very high proportion of the male muslim population when you consider that the general proportion of the overall population who are involved in sex crime is about 0.1%.

Did you actually watch the 90 seconds? Several times. I kept looking for that specific point that it is only Pakistani men that are carrying out this type of crime. No matter how hard I listened to the segment that is not what she said. You have already pointed out the bits you said she did and it still does not mean what you infer. I can only repeat 'What we have see is a practice...' which clearly indicates it is a specific practice that you have inferred is the only practice but the indefinite article does not isolate it in that way. As in 'what we have seen is a man...' which clearly indicates a specific man and not in any way all men, '... whereby..' which carries on to describe the rest of that specific practice.

I don't believe you have anything to find, and the idea that you find it funny only highlights the depraved and twisted morality the good people of this country had to endure from Labour.

We do not see all fish swimming nor does the latter refer to all burglaries. Everyone knows it is not all sexual grooming gangs everyone knows it is not just British Pakistani men and she did not even say what you think she has, and would seem to like her to have, said.

There was nothing to get away with that is why nothing was said. All you are doing is trying to perpetuate the problem by blaming everything on those you see as your political opponents. Young girls are being raped, 'we must take the BNP to court', young girls are being raped 'we must have zero tolerance of racism', young girls are being raped, 'perhaps they have made an informed choice', young girls are being raped, 'there was no cover up'. That is one excuse we have heard before and it did not end well for him.
