Well we will see soon enough.
Far too many more important things for him her to grapple with. I would have thought chances were vanishingly small.

You linked the topic of the vote (ie the name of the bill they wanted time to debate), not the question they were asked. Again, the question was "should they be allowed time to debate" the Labour bill. "A Labour motion that would have forced a vote on a bill to ban fracking has been defeated in the House of Commons" - The Guardian. >>>> youtube link
The question they voted on was literally plastered all over the news at the time of the vote... I guess you missed it. Labour cynically gave the question a title that suggests it is a vote to ban fracking... and you are telling me you are that stupid that you fell for it???

The temporary pause on Fracking has been lifted and banning the practice doesn't look likely in the near future. It would be amazing if companies aren't lining up to get cracking asap. The wholesale prices those companies can sell at right now are too good to miss out on. Will it rebalance supply and demand to the point it drives price reductions - unlikely

FFS, you're really struggling with this one. A motion to ban fracking forced by Labour was proposed and subsequently defeated by the government last night, lifting the 2019 moratorium. Now fuck off and annoy someone else

I don't know, that doesn't really matter. The point is what happens if and when anyone does object. Labour, have for once done something very smart tactically speaking.

People with political knowledge know this is bait so they ignore it.
The problem I have is that Labour have (rightly) spent the last year calling out Boris lies, but now they have created this smoke and mirrors bullshit and will lie to the nation when they say the Tories voted against banning fracking. The truth is they voted against debating a Labour motion, as you automatically do when you are in government.
You are just repeating this lie. What's the point? Is there not enough to hang the Tories with without resorting to your own spin and lies?
Do you remember the Labour lie from a few years back (which they still repeat) that the Tories voted against giving nurses a pay rise? No, they didn't, they voted against debating a Labour bill, and went on to give the nurses up to 25%!! If Starmer is claiming he is better than the Tories why resort to this?
Now if you can provide proof that a government regularly runs with oppositions bills then I'll back down and admit that this wasn't some devious bullshit so they can lie to the public (again).

Your OP:
"So for the benefit of anyone who missed it, the question asked of MP's was: Should the UK ban fracking for shale gas".
That is a complete lie, that was not the question the MPs were asked. What is the point of lying? Everybody say what the question actually was, it was plastered all the news lol.
So "for the benefit of anyone who missed it" the original OP is a blatant lie of Boris proportions hahahahaha

We all know that. I was just calling out your OP as a blatant lie. Just like Labour are blatantly lying with their targeted ads against certain Tory MPs. Labour are pretending to be morally superior to the Tories, yet they are destroying opposition MPs with lies. This is my problem, instead of winning arguments Labour resorts to accusations and demonization of their opponents, whilst shouting "shameful" and "Tory scum" across the chamber. And then people like you gloss over their behaviour, like moronic Democrats turning a blind eye to the disastrous Biden and Harris.
