"Ministers pledge to house asylum seekers on BARGES"I for one am getting sick to the back teeth of announcements about action - I'll cheer when we actually start seeing some action. I see that Sunak is already rowing back on the pledge to ship them to Africa.. Its all bloody smoke and mirrors. It's action that is required and not meaningless words. At least it’s taking the minds of the Europhobes off the damaging failures of Brexit…

Read the labour and brexit thread we are about to sign a deal with a global trading block that makes the EUSSR look like a bloody wanked out vending machine.

But I suppose the barge building industry could be in for a boost…

Read the labour and brexit thread we are about to sign a deal with a global trading block that makes the EUSSR look like a bloody wanked out vending machine. If that’s referring to CPTPP, it’s worth about 0.08% of GDP to the UK. Brexit has cost the UK 4% of its GDP. By my reckoning, this means that the UK has to sign another 50 of these deals to get back what what Brexit has cost the UK economy…

The UK will still be here when the EUSSR dream is dead and buried. We have a far better deal with CPTPP we can still trade with the rest of Europe and it will cost the UK zilch rather than £9 billion per annum.

And thanks to the EUSSR and them putting their faith in a wanker like putin our enrgy bills have hit the roof. And as for the NHS and our welfare services what more can we expect from those lefty woke diversity shits? We can deal with the rest of the world as we always have done whithout having to pay the EUSSR for the privelidge, who are no more than a minor customer of the UK.

And our big near neighbours and other allies are doing better after Covid because they’ve not having to cope with 4% hits to their GDP that Brexit has cost the UK. Put your fingers in your ears and La La away all you like, life in the UK is not going to return to the standards of 2019/20 anytime soon…
