Most Muslims or Jews rarely get asked as regards their faith yet Christians are quizzed in detail. In fact when Zac Goldsmith raised Sadiq Khan's faith he was accused of Islamophobia yet Khan said his faith was important to him just as Yousef does.

Would you like to be governed by someone who had very strong religious beliefs and sought to impose them upon society?

The UK/England/British or whatever you want to call us, whether you are religious or not, we are a country of Christian faith, but we have become the minority in our own country, it's almost racist to declare yourself as a Christian, it makes no difference if you are religious or not, you should hold the values, customs and religions of your own country, if not be prepared to be the minority and let other faiths take over our country.

No point everyone moaning, crying and whinging when we are taken over by the Islamic faith, we will be governed by Sharia law.
Don't say you weren't warned.

Would you like to be governed by someone who had very strong religious beliefs and sought to impose them upon society? No, that wont happen because even if she became first minister she can't just impose her beliefs in to law, they have to be passed first.
What she is saying, she's being discriminated against because she is of Christian faith, yet Humza Yousaf is under no such scrutiny being of Muslim faith.
Why? if he came under the same scrutiny as Kate Forbes with her Christian faith, there would be outcry .... racists ...

Would you like to be governed by someone who had very strong religious beliefs and sought to impose them upon society? A decision for the electorate surely.

No one with any kind of "Moral" conviction should be in a position of governance. They should all fuck off.

No one with any kind of "Moral" conviction should be in a position of governance. They should all fuck off. We've got enough lefties trying to impose those convictions, and if you dare disagree, you are branded far-left or racists, or homophobic bigots.

In 1990 my wife spent a few days in hospital. The doctors declared that she had "No treatable condition" (she was severely disabled ... and had a diagnosis of MS). I was told to take her home. A hospital social worker, who was supposed to advise us about the support available, a smiling (white English) young woman, spent 30 minutes telling us about Jesus.
As a young man when I became homeless, a senior social worker who interviewed me spent his time telling me about Jesus.
I was once even told about Jesus by a young policeman who quationed me in the street.
A Rabbi I listened to on Youtube, who I found acceptable, said, with a smile on her face: "I'm just about the most liberal Rabbi there could possibly be."
The question is, with people of faith is: "How liberal is their faith?"
The more illiberal a person's faith is the more prone to anger they tend to be .. sometimes to the point of being dangerous (like Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister).
One thing I'm curious about is will King Charles, when he gives his Christmas message, talk about Jesus? I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't.
There are a surprising number of UK politicians who are "People of faith" who keep their faith to themselves, who affirm rather than oath take. Rishi didn't.
All politicans should affirm rather than take an oath.

Of course, but if her following were based upon her Christian beliefs then the door would be open. Just as if her following were based upon Islamic beliefs.
