If you are thinking logically then by all means assess all the evidence. Particular faiths have views on those not of the faith and those views can result in some  followers believing that a rape of a person not of the faith is less worthy than others therefore are fair game or raw meat as some have said.

Then we get into the complicated area of culture whereby does a person's race and culture affect his life and outlook. The current thinking is that yes it does as we now are inundated with thoughts on white privilege, white guilt all through critical race theory which works on the principle that white people are affected by their culture to have privilege and to believe that having that privilege is right and proper. If we accept that critical race theory has legs then we must also assume that black culture has also principles affecting outlook and behaviour. This may result in a tendency to certain actions, whether criminal or not. One principle difference is that as a generality white people in white culture have a tendency to prepare for the future inbuilt from preparing for winters, whereas black culture initiated  generally in a land of plenty all year round tends to place more emphasis on satisfying the here and now. These are observations of undoubted logic based on anthropogenic studies.
If you say that people are no different irrespective of teh colour of their skin then you should be demanding the cessation of the teaching of critical race theory in our education system.
