Taiwan is a democracy, China is a dictatorship. Fuck the Communist Party of China. The Republic of China entered into the development phase of Constitutional Democracy with the promulgation of the Constitution of the Republic of China in 1947. Subsequently, the National Revolutionary Army was also renamed as Republic of China Armed Forces and was nationalized. However, due to the Chinese Civil War, the Temporary Provisions Effective During the Period of Communist Rebellion were passed as an amendment to the Constitution of the Republic of China. This established martial law in Taiwan and curtailed civil liberties and democracy. The official rationale for the Provisions was the ongoing Chinese Civil War and ROC was effectively under the military rule of the KMT during the period of mobilization. Taiwan was effectively under martial law. However, with the demise of the KMT single-party system and democratization movement during the 1980s, martial law was eventually lifted in 1987 (and its provisions were eventually rescinded in 1991). Constitutional Democracy was restored in ROC after 1987. |

The mainland was going the other way and opening up from the mid 70s after they had deposed of the evil Gang of Four. The mainland at the time came to a decision on which way to go, and fortunately they chose to go with Deng Xiaoping. He was a good man and saw them right. The ROC just seemed to end up as a vassal state of the US. |

Which of my posts were you having trouble with, BiW?? … If you don’t bother to question and counter argue what people write here?? … when they are being serious. … at least Vinny and others challenge the veracity of some of my stuff … and try and argue the points … Tbh, I’m a bit disappointed with the kick back here to the fringe science and theory posited … I expected better counter argument and opposition … more engagement in subjects some find quite interesting and challenging. Eg: my UFO/Alien thread with 2,842 views and ~ 265 comments. Yet Bigfoot/Giant hominids only get 337 views and 23 comments. … pretty much disinterest it seems … to what could be amazing discoveries. Open-mindedness seems to be fading in an Age of incredible educational opportunities given to us by the Internet.
It is sad that Photoshop and CGI, fakery and the lies and deception perpetrated by Authority, Deep State, Globalist Criminality and Religion has driven Humanity into such a blanket state of cynicism and shut-down mentality … that they can barely analyse anything now … with any degree of DETAIL and SERIOUS CONCENTRATION. |

If you can’t articulate a decent counter-argument to anything I write … then maybe what you say isn’t “undefendable” after all! 😋🤣👏 Several people have applied a different, hard to counter POV/interpretation on the Ukraine situation. Including me, Baron, Provox and Sword … I feel the arguments presented have been logical, factual and well researched … the weak-minded answer to these postings … is to find pathetic excuses to BAN the two main proponents of these dialogues. … because opponents are too lazy to articulate a decent counter argument … content to just throw around ‘labels’ and embark on name-calling … trolling the threads?? This is unacceptable and not debating … underhand and CENSORIOUS - unnecessarily so …. creating rules of engagement that are whitewashing the TRUTH from recent contested narratives on the Ukraine and the Pandemic. China is a dictatorship, that is not a rant. After the Tiananmen square massacre, families of the dead, were invoiced for the bullets that killed their loved ones. Democracy is more important than any of us, it is worth dying for. The Tiananmen Square martyrs were heroes. They risked their lives for China in the hope of a better future and that dictatorship murdered them.  Why is it you hate the west so much yet love dictatorships? |

Why is it you hate the west so much yet love dictatorships? I love the WEST so much … I have to speak out when I see it descending through Authoritarian governance …and through it’s MSM censorship … down to the levels of an East German STASI State. What Putin and Xi are doing to some of their own people is happening to a lesser degree here … I can’t have much influence to help change their situation … but I can articulate an argument here to try and stop Western Totalitarians going for World Domination … destroying us ALL … and our Freedoms.
