Anyone heard from Provox lately?

Maybe he got abducted ny aliens.

He received a warning (as did I), went off on one at the site owner and got a ban.

He broke the rules and abused the owner.
It's like going into a pub insulting the landlord and then demanding a pint.
He's barred.

Everyone has a bad day. I've been extremely pissed off with some people on forums in the past from getting ultra-spiteful treatment. Fortunately it was not the owner, but I know what it is like when that happens. It's like when Kim was banned. I thought she was a laugh as she challenged the complacency in belief on things. You do need people like that on forums or else it is what they call and echo chamber, about as exciting as a council meeting. I myself draw the line at unprovoked rudeness though. I do not know what was said, but I think it was brewing for a while. Provox did get a bit emotional about things.

Yes well that's bad form, but I do also remember everyone ganging up on him just because he does not have the same view as our media does on this matter. Anyway, I don't think he is a bad person, just a bit fed up and pissed off with the constant rudeness. It's what they call bullying and I've seen it done to Sword as well. In a better environment I think Provox would be doing OK. He's a very intelligent bloke, and knows far more about some stuff than all of us combined. I think he might have worked in the energy business himself. I've been impressed many time on his detailed knowledge on certain things, e.g. when he was talking about those giant compressors which send the gas down pipes. Someone like that has the knowledge to know when the media are bullshitting us. His critics could not argue as they did not know themselves, and were just insulting. That's very frustrating.

Bullies are generally those who stick in crowds and do their bullying together as they are too pathetic to stand up on their own. I get it on here regularly by a certain gang of rude posters. Fortunately one or two of the worst seem to have been banned so I'm OK these days, but I can tell you it really does piss you off, day in and day out. It often happens when you challenge the prevailing view. Like a while back it was Brexiters who were bullied because they challenged the prevailing view. It's weird actually because like what Kim was saying, a fair bit of it has come to pass so there is vindication eventually. You might not like the news, but you really aught to take truth seriously. I see these people as simply ahead of their time. It's wrong to dismiss someone's view completely. It's more intelligent to figure why they say what they do and to assess the accuracy of it. Some people can be half right and half wrong, but the right bit might be something you didn't know.
