For the 19th century the working class man didnt get the vote until 1867 in the citys and 1887 in the countryside. the 20th century the equality act In 1928 gave equal rights to men and woman to vote and the 21st century we just begun. that rather screw up your picture

A failed thread allowing a number of biased unproven opinions to be posted thus proving nothing more than some posters like to express their own particular bias. I suspect that srb7677s repeated attempts to get me to join in with those who get a kick out of lying, insinuating and attacking Blair just might have something to do with this waste of space thread. I knew he was pissed off that I refuse to join them, and now he can remain pissed off because I still refuse to join them It can hardly have failed when the list of people are heavily responsible for what this country has become. Please read my all encompassing and accurate previous post. The word 'Impartial' refers to being: unbiased unprejudiced neutral non-partisan non-discriminatory anti-discrimination. And that is a big ask of anybody.

Anyone who is politically impartial is by definition apolitical, and that is certainly not me. Anyone who has any interest in politics will not be impartial/apolitical. They will quite obviously be partial, in most cases very partial. Well said. Unfortunately, there do appear to be people who believe themselves to be impartial. These people can often be quite dangerous in large numbers Impartiality was the wrong question. As Red points out, politics is about partiality. However, one may express a preference for many things in life without that partiality extending to the specific exclusion of everything else. I can't speak for srb7677, but an exercise in acknowledging that one's partial, partisan choice might not be perfect is healthy for democracy. The problem with politics is not with its partiality but with it's partisanship. 'My party - right or wrong', is not a reasonable view.
