Battle for Tory soul ramps up as Boris Johnson flies home and pushes for 'dream ticket' with Rishi Sunak: Claims 140 MPs could back ex-PM for shock comeback as hopefuls frantically woo support - but opponents swipe he WON'T even make 100 threshold Boris Johnson will need the support of 100 Tory MPs if he wants to launch a bid to become the next PM If successful he will be only the third PM in modern history to return to No10, following Winston Churchill Mr Johnson is said to be pushing for a 'dream ticket' with Rishi Sunak to take on Labour at the next election www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11339601/Battle-Tory-soul-ramps-Boris-Johnson-pushes-dream-ticket-Rishi-Sunak.htmlI think Boris has already shown that he is incapable of dealing with the problems that most people think are important as regards Britain. He may be the best of a poor choice but if Boris and Sunak are a 'dream ticket' with their recent history then we are in a sorry pass. I see Braverman as the only option for anything like a sensible and Conservative PM but that is not going to happen. I look forward to Starmer in a couple of years with the same degree of foreboding as the Roman.

I do. That's why I stopped voting Tory. Are the rest us to be expected to care who you voted for? Maybe you start a poll and see how many give a frig who you voted for. Well look on the bright side. If Johnson gets in and puts us in an even bigger shit hole than we are already in, at least you won't be blaming me for it. Although on second thoughts - going on past performances from Johnson's fans you probably will.

If the Tories don't chose Boris they are dead in the water, surely they can read the room, they only have to take a look at most newspapers and media sources to know that the general public want Boris. They must also realise it's the general public who decides at the ballot box who is going to run the country.
The Tories need to bury their own agendas and get behind the peoples choice if they want to keep their jobs, if it comes down to ego trips and backstabbing they deserve all they get.

Well it's becoming increasingly clear why some posters have a limited insight in to the full spectrum of politics and political parties, if their only source is trotting to the newsagents every morning to buy their left wing newspapers, that's why they haven't a clue what goes on outside of that bubble.

They are a pain in the butt mate when those of us who work have to wait behind them to purchase their BS using vouchers and bloody pennies... They have all frigging day to do their shopping but choose the time that others who work are kept waiting. Same at the filling stations when they have to top their already full tanks up.

It's the lefty mindset, they wont be annoying anyone if they do their shopping at quite periods, it's like the Eco mob blocking roads a peak times of the day for total disruption, most of them are that old they sit down and can't get back up again FFS, they have to wait to be dragged off the roads or the police lift them up, and those who of them who aren't over the hill are the unemployed tree hugger's, if a DWP fraud squad investigation team turned up they'd be off those roads like shot, you wouldn't see their feet for dust, if they thought their benefits were going to stop.

I don't see Boris winning another election and worse he might be tripped up again by another 'groper' type.
Sunak is the best bet to keep the economy on firm ground hopefully with a few green shoots to stimulate growth.
If the economy is working Labour won't win.

Let me tell you why Boris has every chance of winning the next general election, Labour will always have a chink in the armor and that chink is Starmer.
The general public do not like Starmer, and it's the general public who puts leaders/parties in government.
Starmer/Rayner wanted rid of Boris for that reason, Boris is Labour worst nightmare, Starmer knows it's game over for him and Labour if Boris becomes PM again, can't you see he's crapping his pants already.
