And I wonder how many of those who want him back conspired against him?
Bombshell poll finds over half of Tory MEMBERS want Truss to quit with Boris favourite to take over - as Transport Secretary seems to say 'probably' when asked if ministers back the PM Prime Minister Liz Truss is under enormous pressure after her economic plan was almost entirely scrapped New Chancellor Jeremy Hunt threw out 'almost all' of the tax cuts included in her disastrous mini-budget Sunak has denied maneuvering to oust Ms Truss as Prime Minister but a senior source said 'he still wants it'

That aint going to happen is it? hopefully Of course the real joke is that a PM of the UK could be junked for nothing more than a glass of wine and a slice of cake.

He wasn’t.
Almost certainly not in answer to your OP question.

Bring back Boris, the pound will rocket, and the markets will be in safe hands, look what happens when he's not in charge, if the Tories want to win the next election bring him back, he was voted in by the people and we should have had our say on him going.

Fair enough if you want an idiot running the show.

That makes it about 100,000 people want him back that is 0.06 of the population. Johnson is a liar, sponger, misogynistic racist and people want him back, that's how low we have sunk.

Well that makes him an equal to starmer then. Maybe you could name any UK PM that hasn't lied and had so much to deal with in a very short amount of time?

Well my current preference is for a General Election but you do make a valid point. It's unbelievable that in just 3 short years the Tories could go from winning a landslide General Election to being practically wiped out - Johnson was the most electorally successful Tory Politician for a generation so getting rid of him was a gamble, a gamble that certainly has not paid off.

Keeping him would have been a far bigger gamble. Few in his government, his party or the country as a whole believed a word he said and polls and elections had started to go badly against him - remember Honiton and Wakefield
They then somehow managed to choose an even worse PM.

Fish have to have ice pillows in the EU, banning bendy bananas, there is no justification for lies like these and the have nothing to do with Covid, which he made worse by shaking hands with infected people and then lied saying he nearly died. The man is an out and out liar, end of.
