Yes - NHS Supply Chain. It certainly is not the PM's job as you claim to go sorting through the warehouse looking at expiry dates.  Proof that it is included in the NHS Supply Chain please What do you think the purpose of NHS Supply Chain is? I mean, the clue is in their title.  If you dont want to believe me try listening to them: NHS Supply Chain manages the sourcing, delivery and supply of healthcare products, services and food for NHS trusts and healthcare organisations across England and Wales. |

Well at least it's been a prime example of the Stevie-Go-Round:
1) It's pointed out that Steve is wrong.
2) Steve denies being wrong.
3) Steve is shown proof that he is wrong.
4) Steve attempts to deflect with semantics and sophistry.
5) These are debunked and it's pointed out that Steve is still wrong.
6) Steve further attempts to deflect with denial/assumed victimhood/whataboutery/strawman arguments/personal abuse and/or outright lies.
7) These are debunked and it's pointed out that Steve is still wrong.
8) Return to Step 2 until everyone else is totally bored and Steve claims to have won. Steve was wrong It was pointed out that he was wrong Steve sarcastically referred me to the dictionary... Which proved that Steve was wrong! Own goal or what? Steve is now attempting to blame the dictionary/assume victimhood.  Everyone else is now laughing and will soon get totally bored of Steve's wriggling.

I have never claimed that the NHS Supply Chain is not responsible. I'm looking for confirmation that the quoted "UK government stockpiles" are inside or outside of the NHS Supply Chain. Are they held and monitored in reserve for emergency use, by the Government, or by the NHS Supply Chain? |

Even if the responsibility for ordering lies with a general procurement department, it's inconceivable they would be responsible for stocktaking. The only way they could be held responsible would be if they were charged with monitoring stock replacement due to age. Having worked in similar situations each health trust would be responsible for flagging up such matters and almost certainly based oninput from individual hospitals. |
