Broken NHS, too many managers and pen pushers not enough front line, constantly giving them more money is not the answer and they are no longer the envy of the world. Dont see many Spanish, French, German etc coming to the UK for the NHS but we still cling to the delusional idea that we are the best.
A&E delays 'may have killed 23,000 Brits last year' as health experts warn staggering 1.6MILLION Brits faced 12-hour waits There were 1.66million people in England waiting more than 12 hours in A&E This is according to a report by the Royal College of Emergency Medicine

It is certainly not unusual to see the NHS in major trouble under a Conservative government. The underlying problem is as always the Tory desire to increase private health care which would lead to an exaggerated two tier health care system, and millions of people entering into medical debt. Otherwise the Conservative government would be using its collective knowledge to improve the system. Anyone who relies upon the Tory faced Mail for politically unbiased information is a total idiot, who becomes filled with biased biased information.

Doesn't really compare with the 200,000+ the pandemic has net killed in the UK And you've been shown time after time that the 'managers and pen pushers' is actually a very low % of NHS spend and one of the issues is probably that front line staff are being diverted and poorly used due to lack of management. Your government and the policies you support have woefully failed to address the issues with staffing shortages across the NHS, that's the root cause of these A&E issues. Maybe you should own your own shit for once.

The COVID lockdown and closing clinics ,operations and other procedures during lockdown is a factor in NHS delays . It defeats the object hospitals closing down because people are sick, one would have thought the very existence and purpose of a hospital was to serve the sick, what's the point of having hospitals if they close down when people need treatment.

The NHS is ok, but it is part of the left-wing orthodoxy that wants everyone to be sick and poor, because if they weren't all the country's do gooders would run out of customers and voters.

The number one challenge the NHS faces is the epidemic of fat and unhealthy people it has to treat.
You are all failing to understand one basic principle. The NHS workforce goes up year on year, but the amount of sick and unhealthy people is increasing at a stupendous rate. The unfilled vacancies are not just because people are leaving the NHS, a large part of them is that we need more and more healthcare professionals as more and more of you get fat and ill.
We need some grown up conversations in this country because we have a large proportion of the population that take no responsibility for their health and then take more than their fair share of NHS resources.

They are my thoughts completely. This country has a high percentage of fat lazy vaping bastards that are draining the NHS, all ailments caused by drinking, smoking, being a fat bastard, tattooing, sex changes and all the other ballocks should be considered self imposed and treatment fees should be levied, when these idle twats have to assume responsibility for themselves they might think twice. Alternatively scap the supposed "free" NHS and everyone buys health care, then these people would be considered high risk and charged more.

And it was labour who wanted the lockdowns to remain longer and harder...Look at the frigging mess they made of it in Wales....Along with the snp in Scotland.
