The thing is, i was a lay preacher and then i woke up and not in the way fucking snowflakes abuse the word. I saw mysogyny celebrated as a virtue in the evangelical god botherers. I saw my wife shunned by the church she grew up with when her second pregnancy went tits and she chose to have an abortion at 23 and a half weeks with no paperwork instead of a stillbirth at 26 or 28 and endure the funeral. The fucking VICAR at the church in question left in disgust to minister elsewhere after seeing how she was treated by his congregation Back in work fourteen women (oh sorry, bitches is what you prefer to call them) six from my team and eight from adjacent ones all handed in their notice when they found the restructure caused by my departure and two other managers left them working for this mysogynist bastard. It would be easy to say i no longer believe there is a god The truth is i don't know, but if there is and he is indeed the piece of shit who applauds attitudes like yours then fuck this i’m with satan because the shithead you worship is simply not worthy or deserving of such. Indeed, but going back to the bible's good fruit tree and bad fruit tree, you can be sure of what is what. The Christian believes in loving everyone. They believe in fairness. You clearly had a wrongun there, but that in no way alters the beliefs. My church has now been woked out by a woman preachers. Sadly the church is not allowed by law to act independently any more. Still though, you don't actually need a church. As a Christian you focus on what you do, and let God be the judge of the wronguns. If man were to judge, man would make mistakes due to original sin. If he has committed sin then he will have to pay for it. Think of it as not your business and try and be inspired by these who set good examples. Dwelling on shit all the time makes one end up covered in it. Have you ever heard the expression, you become what you hate? The Bible is the worst advertisment for Christianity and God but nothing can replace it other than commonsense.

It's just recorded historically that a group of Italian monks brought Christianity to Britain in the 6th century. I forget the name of the order but my source is reliable. I'm no professor of history of this period, but I happened to know that as I was reading about it in Wikipedia a while back. I expect you think it is shit because you don't know what I speak of. There were small Christian groups before that which operated from about the second century AD to the 4th century AD time, though there is a lot of uncertainty. The earliest known church in Britain is near to me in fact and is 6th century. It was no more than a chapel and very small. We have a few remains of the foundations and some floor tiles were recovered. Actually this is a recent discovery where before that the earliest was in Iona. As someone who claims to be a devout Christian I find strange that you have forgotten the name Augustine who was sent to England (Britain wasn't a nation then). He wasn't Italian, he came from North Africa; the Roman army conscripted soldiers from many of the countries they conquered and it's worth pointing out that Rome wasn't Italy, it was its own entity at that time and the Vatican is still a state in it's own right. It's possible that christianity reached Ireland before it reached England via migration from Spain and again probable that Scotland was influenced by the Irish Christians prior to Augustine's visit. Ireland, Spain and Scotland, like much of Europe, is of Celtic blood. Try to educate yourself, you need it. Are you having a bitch at me and trying to put words in my mouth? I'd give it a break if I were you and the Italian I was thinking of was not Augustine or I would have remembered it.
Edit - could have been Pope Gregory/can't find the original article though.

This is a forum on which peoiple are allowed their views and allowed to point out the ridiculous. Augustine was sent to England by Gregory (Pope not Peck)......does that help?

You are a hindrance rather than a help. Don't tell me to get educated as it is rather disrespectful, especially as I previously admitted I was sketchy on the details. You are just trying to score cheap points. I don't find it a laughing matter that the new woke is driving people mad, and the amount of antidepressants consumed is telling. It's one fucked up society you support with your atheist anti-Christian views. People like you start wars over this kind of thing and Christians are persecuted all over the world.

Well, I've said elsewhere that having told the Abrahammic God he can go fuck off doesnt mean i think all of the ideas his cultists attribute to him are bad ideas. In short, i don’t need to believe in someone else’s supernatural being to consider some behaviours a good idea and others not. I feel entitled to nick their behaviour and copy it. They in turn can feel free to point at me behaving as they do and claim their god told me to. Its utter bollox but I've been accused of worse.

The way so many Christians carry on, you'd think there were no good people before the first Bible was published. Of course it was written in Latin so only scholars could read it whilst the poor guy in the country lane had to rely on the conniving clergy and pay their tythes.

The Bible was not originally in Latin, either, obviously!

OK Google expert, you know everything. Nope, I just know more than you which doesn't by any means make me a genius. You think Christians are so away with the fairies, but the other day I found out that the first building to be built higher than the pyramids was Lincoln Cathedral.
Now that take a logical mind, does it not?
Not only that but a chapel in Cambridge was also the world's largest single spanning roof when it was built.

The Bible was not originally in Latin, either, obviously! __"There are a few schools of thought on what language the Koran was written in. The first belief is that the Koran was written in Arabic, as it is the sacred language of Islam. Another belief is that the Koran was actually written in an ancient form of Arabic, which would explain why some words are unfamiliar to modern Arabic speakers. Finally, some scholars believe that the Koran was originally written in Aramaic or Hebrew, as these were the dominant languages of the region at the time. Despite there being different theories on what language the Koran was written in, there is no definitive answer. However, most scholars agree that it was likely written in either Arabic or an ancient form of Arabic. This would explain why the text is so difficult to translate into other languages. gogoknow.com/what-language-was-the-koran-written-in/
