ROD you are our Hero .. Rod Stewart left the United Kingdom and made his home in Los Angeles in 1975 to avoid the 83% tax on top earners that existed in Britain at the time. Toto Wolff was accused of being a tax exile by Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner. Wolff, who is originally from Austria, now resides in Monaco. LOL people like Rod come back to use our NHS because you don't have to pay, yes Rod you are a true hypocritical double standard leftie, they will welcome you with open arms Just a titbit, it was Harold Wilson Labour leader who was Prime Minister (March 1974 - April 1976) at the time Rod decided to flee to America because he was paying too much tax, LOL you couldn't make this shit up.

And the Tories have made it even worse. They are more interested in privatising it than preserving it.If only...

Long-time Tory Sir Rod Stewart phones in to Sky News to say party should stand down Rock star Sir Rod Stewart surprised journalists and viewers when he phoned in to Sky News to share his views on the NHS crisis - and call on the Government to stand down. Singer-songwriter Sir Rod, 78, was watching the Your Say segment on Thursday while building his model railway at home, when he made the unscheduled appearance after hearing people’s stories of trying to access healthcare. He said that despite being a long-time Conservative voter, he feels it is time for the party to stand down and “give the Labour Party a go”. www.msn.com/en-gb/news/newslondon/long-time-tory-sir-rod-stewart-phones-in-to-sky-news-to-say-party-should-stand-down/ar-AA16M2f8The Tories don't want to talk about it. Very droll , no Government has ever addressed the problem's with the NHS over many years money alone will not solve its problems , which has been said over and over again for far too long Difference is the Mob in power don't want to solve it,they don't even believe in it and are trashing it,if you don't get that now you never will.

How bad do you want it to get before you face the truth? Well the tories have become a death cult, thats where we are at,otherwise you couldn't explain the total lunacy thats happeneing, its like the Manson family.

It's not a question of hating the Tories although surely even you must see that things have got worse and worse as time has gone on. They've tried everything they can think of. Look around you. It's a glorious fuck up start to finish. Brexit, immigration, the NHS, the economy all screwed to buggery yet according to you nothing to do with Tories. It was Corbyn, Starmer and all Labour's fault. Wake up man. How many more years are you and other Tory supporters going to take us to perdition? See my thread 'Broken Britain', the chances are I'll vote for Richard Tice and his Reform party next time. I think you once said you had been a trade Union official, bloody hell Red thats quite a jouney you have been on,and it will end with you supporting another extreme rightwing clown.

Rod Stewart has the right to express his opinion.
And yes, the Tories are shit. Problem is, everyone else with a chance at getting in is even worse.

Indeed, I was a union member for about four years and branch secretary for about two years. That was early 2000's, my political loyalties have changed a lot since then, particularly since 2016. As I once told Carty 'I have fully transitioned' lol. I used to be centre left I am now firmly centre right, and I've never supported any extremist. I think the most extreme politician we have had in recent years was Corbyn, and I certainly didn't support him.

Since the formation of the NHS two-thirds of our governments have been Tory and the NHS is still with us. Yet every week someone, somewhere foretells the imminent doom of the NHS at the hands of the Tories. Well sorry guys, but it's been 74 years and they haven't privatised it yet.

Don't start all that old bullshit that Labour would be worse. You have no idea what Labour would do. Nor has the Labour party, which would promise to make it rain beer in return for a couple of votes.
The NHS is a bloated mess that is only kept afloat by Aneurin Bevan's brilliant idea on funding. Other than that it is like that other state religion, the Church of England. We all have a certain wry regard for them both and accept that they mean well, but we don't really expect much from them

Corbyn was not extreme, maybe naive thinking the Establishment would ever allow him to be in power. Corbyn's biggest mistake was letting the Blairite Europhile faction influence him. He actually got more votes in 2017 than Blair got in 2001. That said, many of his policies were daft. The broadband thing for example. And his views on the Salisbury poisonings, suggesting that we ask those who did it what they thought, I mean come on. Fucking naive.
