The employer topped it up with the other 20% to make it 100%. That wasn't compulsory. Most didn't as they didn't have any income. Not if they were self implored they didn’t some were luck enough to get some but far from what they needed. And as for the public sector wankers it made no difference to those lazy arseholes as they got full pay. And that is why the wankers still want to WFH.

Please explain how people were "better off" on 80% of their wages? Because they were paid benefits. Not fucking rocket science is it? Most people on furlough didn't qualify for UC. I appreciate that volumes of UC went up, but that was mostly due to people being laid off, not those on furlough qualifying.

How come when you quote a link from a main media source that does not suit the leftie agenda, they try to make out you invented the story.
LOL
They want you to go turn detective and investigate the whole article for autenthentisity, yet the same bunch of lefties were drooling over every negative article written about Johnson and partygate, notice the lefties didn't want you to back up claims Johnson broke lockdown rules LOL

When working they had to put in 100% effort for 100% income, on furlough they put in 0% effort for 80% income, the latter seems to be a good deal to me. On furlough they didn't have to fund travel costs (fuel, rail fares, bus fares etc), didn't have to pay for coffee or tea breaks, no lunches costs, no expenses for work clothes and so on. No wonder the lazy bastards want to stay working at home doing nothing, it is a very attractive deal. You are correct about commuting costs, but that is balanced out by increased gas and electric costs. They absolutely do have to fund their own tea, coffee and lunches though! 😂 FFS that effects everyone whether they are on benefits or not.

You seem to be a little confused here between those on furlough and those working from home. You can't be both! 😂

It's true what they say...
The idiom a little knowledge is a dangerous thing means that one can become falsely overconfident about his expertise in a certain subject if he possesses a small amount of knowledge about it.

No one appeared to be less well off under the furlough scheme, in fact most were better off Please explain how people were "better off" on 80% of their wages? Just one reason, you can work others out for yourself rather than barking out orders....they didn't have to pay to get to work. I notice you are frequently posting via mobile, I hope you are not doing it from your place of work.

I've already mentioned the commuting costs, but as I said believe these were balanced out by increase in gas and electric. Yes, I do post from the office, but not whilst I'm training. I also tend to use my phone for posting at home.?

It can do, but I opted to stay office based.
