there is a great marketing concept in there - Advertise products as 'Eco-free' . I doubt trading standards could do much considering the phrase is genuinely meaningless lol Hot weather on its way according to forecasters but no mention of CO2, instead citing other reasons like water currents and other shifts And none of those are linked.

You have no data - whatsoever - that backs up the claim you made that children are dying in towns and cities in this country because of pollution emitted by combustion engine vehicles. Why make such a claim when you know it to be false, or at least unverified? Fair do's if it's merely your opinion/conspiracy theory. Are you seriously claiming that diesel fumes are not harmful to health? Do not trigger asthma which can kill you. Plus a number of other lung diseases. If you really are that ignorant of the facts I think any conversation is pointless. I can't think of any gasses which are not harmful to humans given high enough concentrations and time. Where's the data verifying the claim you made that children are dying because of combustion engine gasses?

Depends how fast the charging infrastructure is. Divert to an airfield with just 13 Amp socket and you are talking about days.. So you have no idea. That's what I thought. Well I know that it will be vastly slower than refueling an equivalent jet - the question is exactly how much slower.

Nor can I. but some are harmful in much lower doses than others. Nine-year-old Ella, who died in 2013, became the first person to have air pollution listed as a cause of death on their death certificate. Nitrogen dioxide emissions where Ella lived in south London exceeded both EU and national legal limits.

By reducing the diesel vehicles that cause the pollution. The ULEZ charge is being extended out to the M25 to save more lives. But the petrol heads on here don't care about kids getting lung diseases, just so long as they can live their lives unchanged.

Following the success of reducing stinky poisonous ICE vehicles in London, I look forward to their replacement in other cities.
Many schools have to beg parents to turn off their engines when collecting their ids, such is the selfishness of ICE owners.
No wonder they don't care about the environment.

How much plastic did you put out in the tash today?.....And how about the selfish arseholes who put thousands of lives in jeopardy for the materials for EV's so they can make out they are doing their bit to save something that doesn't need saving.

If they're EC drivers do they switch off, bet your life they do because they're frightened they won't have enough juice to get to work, do the shopping or even get home. :@

You have not reduced the amount of vehicles - technology has made them cleaner. When you take in the full life cycle and sources of energy EV's are no more cleaner than anything else.

Very little, we recycle don't you? Or the selfish arseholes who put thousands of lives in jeopardy for the materials for the millions of ICE cars, that then go on to poison people as well.

When you stop the car you stop using energy. That's technology for you. But with only 250 miles between charges I'm sure all the hundreds of people you know who travel from Watford to Glasgow every day constantly have range anxiety. Sigh.
