Same reason they're not all dead from car crashes. They kill people, but not everyone. historically the great smogs killed thousands on people. You have no data - whatsoever - that backs up the claim you made that children are dying in towns and cities in this country because of pollution emitted by combustion engine vehicles. Why make such a claim when you know it to be false, or at least unverified? Fair do's if it's merely your opinion/conspiracy theory. Are you seriously claiming that diesel fumes are not harmful to health? Do not trigger asthma which can kill you. Plus a number of other lung diseases. If you really are that ignorant of the facts I think any conversation is pointless. |

Yes but the commercial business model for short haul routes is fast turnrounds - something that is impossible in an electric aircraft. I can see a future as private toy, but I'm struggling to see the commercial future given the cost How long does it take to charge then? Depends how fast the charging infrastructure is. Divert to an airfield with just 13 Amp socket and you are talking about days.. |

Yeah but they pumped out those killer gases. You know like the ones you support that pump out noxious gasses that kill children in towns and cities. I was just comparing the performance of the latest tech wizardry with something from 1917 You dont have to go back that far - just under 50 years ago we had commercial supersonic flights. Now we are back to plodding along at mach 0.85. Which is the same as aircraft which entered service in the 1950's -- we literally have had no progress (in fact we have gone backwards) in aviation in 7 decades!. |
