By that token, petroleum spirit and diesel fuelled vehicles also use oxygen, whether naturally aspirated or turbo… Yes but hydrogen is just hydrogen. A single element. So is oxygen. What is it you’re arguing with or about…

Thats is a hybrid not a full EV....Duh But it’s not a fossil fuel hybrid or needing to directly charge from the electricity network. Think again. What is it you’re promoting or arguing against…

Oh dear yet more cost to those who have EV's...Many councils have banned cables laid a cross the pavement including Bristol and the majority of councils state they are a trip hazard....Kerbo Charge have been warned that a gully cut in the pavement would still be considered a trip hazard the council would charge£1K to cut therse gullys but the onus would be on both the customer and Kerbo Charge and would be liable for any accidents caused......LV and other insurance companies are now increasing the insurance on EV's because of the chance a lemon driver could be prosecuted for causing a hazard....And that is for those plebs who are mad enough to purchase these lemons who have a parking outside of their own house...

In a fuel cell powered EV, the hydrogen comes from one or more tanks built into vehicle and the oxygen comes from the ambient air.
This is also true of Internal combustion engined cars that carry their fuel in tanks and draw their oxygen from the ambient air.
I don’t see how it’s accurate to refer to either as hybrid in the way the description is currently applied to vehicles…

BEV Vs EV
The jargon can be confusing because people can often really mean BEV when they use the term EV - because the appropriateness of BEV is what is being discussed rather than hydrogen fuel cells

No doubt there'll be more by the time vehicles carrying their own tanks of carbon-based fossil fuel become to be regarded as old curiosities.
Personally, I don't see discussion of FCEVs as any less relevant than discussion BEVs, because both sources of electrical energy for them are currently being developed and improved...

I didn't think there was any need - i just wanted to draw attention to the distinction.
