I'm intrigued Zany. How much violence would you use to force your preference on others? If a significant portion of the UK public got wise and told you to shove it where it hurts, would you support the use of nuclear weapons to subdue this population and prevent them building IC cars? Brilliant. Chucking back the "climate emergency" hyperbole at someone who is a believer, going along with their notion we are all about to die, it wouldn't hurt to kill a few off in pursuit of the greater good. It shows up the absolute ridiculousness of the cultist's thinking. Do they really believe there is a climate emergency? |

I think it's a reasonable question - if the whole world is really at stake , surely incinerating entire cities is small price to pay for compliance? You certainly seem quite willing to force people into poverty - so this would just be an extension Sadly, I was genuinely interested in starting a conversation with you about what security you would be happy to forego to have the freedoms you often say we've lost. But I wont bother now. i think this is your weakest area - the compromise between our security and your personal ideals is one that you don't seem sufficiently aware of |

As much as people are forced to buy EVs… in 7 years time they will be.. In seven years time a lot of things may have happened, but only purchasers of new cars will be required to buy EVs... |

But currently EVs are not being forced on anyone (except perhaps users of mobility scooters)...
The thread is about EV's . There is a seperate thread for alternative power...its easy to find as zany made a fool of herself there as well as this one she now wishes she never started. You're the one in this exchange who raised the issue:
