Sunak has been issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice for not wearing a seatbelt by Lancashire Police. That should keep some happy for several days, floggings to good for him , sack him drag him off to the Tower  |

Don't the police protection group recommend no seat belts for anyone at risk of attack?
It's for a faster exit in case of terrorism, etc.
Having said that, if he admits he did wrong, just pay up. He knows how to pay as he got fined over the partygate affair.

I think the last thing his protection officer would do is tell him to get out of the car , it is safer inside and the driver if need be would drive away from any danger as fast as possible, if need be ram their way out.

Good to see that the police in the drugs capital of the north west are on the case, now they have proved how zealous they are to enforce the law we can now expect them to reduce drug dealing, street crime, Albanian gangs and breaking and entering in Blackpool.

And just on cue, an old video comes to light with Starmer not wearing a belt. It's really insignificant stuff to keep us hoi polloi away from the real issues, like they jointly trashed the economy with lockdowns, furlough, track and trace.

In my youth I spent many a happy day out or even a week on occasions in Blackpool really enjoyed them, I went back to Blackpool with two of our oldest grandkids a couple of years ago when visiting my family in the North , we got the hell out of there before it got dark as you say Junkies all over the place begging for money for a fix. |

Or are you arguing that they shouldn't investigate some offences? Or just turn a blind eye because of who it is? If you or I got caught not wearing a seat belt, then we would get a FPN. Even if you contest an FPN in Court and loose , you still don't get a Criminal Record Mostly this is true but as per the government website it is possible to have it on your record, if a court convicts you because of one. “Fixed penalty notices (FPN) and penalty charge notices (PCN) are fines for minor driving offences.
