I mean, another interminable thread that boils down to: "Leavers are racists who didn't know what they were voting for." Do even Remnants take themselves seriously anymore? More significantly, do Bexshiters take themselves seriously anymore. |

As the foremost Leaver in the UK was the right-winger Farage (with a far-right mate in Trump) Perhaps the "opinion" is not entirely without foundation? Trump isn't far-right lol. He spent the first year of COVID talking about freedoms ffs... how the fuck is that authoritarian?  lol. Trump is only interested in being pro-Trump and played people off against each other to gain power (ie a populist). Jumping to call everybody a Nazi in an attempt to win an argument is just lazy. It's not what you say, it's what you do that reveals who you are. Trump's backing mostly consisted of far-right extremist groups whom he did his best to defend. And Trump wanted to be a dictator proved by his attempt to steel the election. Had he succeeded he would have been a dictator backed by far-right groups just like Hitler. It is IMO impossible to deny his far-right position. Adolf was all about himself and his desires as well. |

The first instalment of her weekly hour-long programme, titled Friday Night With Nadine, will feature an exclusive interview with the former prime minister. The newspaper reported that Mr Johnson said that Labour would become “gravitationally sucked” back into the EU’s orbit if it gained power after the next election, in comments made ahead of the third anniversary of the UK leaving the bloc. I'm looking forward to that interview, I like Nadine and Boris. I doubt there will be anything new or any big reveals. She's a Boris fan, I have no doubt she will ask a few questions that are supposed to be awkward for Boris, but he'll be probably briefed, no biggie I'm still looking forward to it, not so much as a political interview. More as entertainment, and that's what Boris was always good at. Starmer will be watching, to see how it's done. Sadly for Starmer, watching is all he will ever achieve. Unlike Boris he has no sense of humour, no personality. And that's a problem.
