He has previously praised the vaccine roll-out, and I'm pretty sure he is vaccinated himself. However, in the last year he seems to have lost the plot. No issue with raising questions, but that wasn't what he was doing. His choice of language has done for him though. I'd be very surprised if he stood again as Tory member for Leicestershire nw. His days as mp are numbered, even if that has to wait until the GE.

Statement from Andrew Bridgen.
Well said Andrew Bridgen. I hope he does take legal action against those who accuse him of racism/antisemitism.

Of course. But as an adult you know that opinions are reported as fact, useful to anyone who wants to support a debatable position. Like Bridgen did. That still does not address the point as to why those who hold the opinion the vaccine is perfectly safe should hold sway over those whose opinion is that the vaccine is a form of mass murder.

An allegation? He repeated what an expert in the field said. Why would it be right to repeat an expert saying this is the best thing since sliced bread and it is perfectly safe but not to repeat what an equally qualified expert says that it is a danger to humanity? The expert in the field was being highly unprofessional in making such a ridiculous comparison, and the politician was an idiot for not recognising the outrageousness of this and instead repeating it with a form of words that endorsed it. I mean anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows that comparing anything but the murder of millions with the holocaust is very dodgy territory. That a professional politician doesn't seem to realise that casts huge doubt over his judgement in a way likely to only undermine any valid points he might be trying to make. In case you missed it, the guy who said it was Jewish and if he's right it may well achieve holocaust levels.

In case you missed it, the guy who said it was Jewish and if he's right it may well achieve holocaust levels. I am well aware of that. Being Jewish he should have known better. But alas being Jewish is no safeguard against saying stupidly insensitive things, obviously. And evidence thus far makes any comparison with the holocaust a ridiculous one. Especially since the holocaust was a deliberate mass murder and not a mass attempt to save lives. The motives are entirely different for a start.

Absolutely ridiculous comment, likening vaccines to mass murder with very little evidence. You are the kind of conspiracy theorist nut that has been so dangerous on the other side of the Atlantic. Where is your evidence of mass murder which first of all requires intent to kill? Then where is your evidence of millions of vaccine related deaths in any case? And don't quote a load of conspiracy theorist shit or most of us will laugh at you.

I gave no opinion other than why should those who state the vaccine is absolutely safe hold sway over those who think it is mass murder? They are both opinions. All you are doing is presenting your opinion that it is a stupid one. There are many stupid opinions we allow to exist and be articulated on a regular basis as regards Covid, most especially from the religious fraternit. One MP says her election win was down to prayer. So stupid opinions abound

So stupid opinions abound Well for one thing the notion that it is mass murder is so ridiculous that no one should be taking that seriously. It is like saying why should those who say the earth is round hold sway over those who say it is flat because both are opinions. Even though one is obviously ridiculous. Having said that, questioning the absolute safety of the vaccines (there are several) is valid because some people have suffered side effects, sometimes serious ones, and a few have died. However, the balance of opinion amongst most professional medics, supported by the available evidence, is that the vaccines have protected far more people than they have killed and saved far more lives than they have taken. People should be free to question that fact with reasoned argument supported by evidence, but to start talking about the holocaust and mass murder is so grotesque an exaggeration, not to mention insensitive, that it undermines any sensible point being made. So to liken the vaccines to the holocaust and mass murder is stupid, obviously offensive, and undermines their own case by making them sound like crazed conspiracy theorists and loons.

So to liken the vaccines to the holocaust and mass murder is stupid, obviously offensive, and undermines their own case by making them sound like crazed conspiracy theorists and loons. Well for one there is much medical opinion that is very much not in favour of the vaccines and believe they are detrimental to the well being of humanity. They may be a minority opinion but that does not remove them from medical expertise or indeed make their opinion unworthy. The holocause comment may be on the extremity of that opinion but it is still an opinion based on some evidence that many may not agree with but that is the nature of opinion. As regards the earth is flat and the earth is round opinions that is rather silly as it has been proven by actual experience that it is round so there is no longer an opinion as regards it, it can be easily categorised as denial. Which brings us to the vaccines are safe or dangerous opinion which is unproven, they are believed to be in general safe and effective but there is mounting evidence that there are problems and that some of these may be long term. Reasoned argument becomes difficult when one encounters branding as anti-vaxers those who ask questions. Many of those so branded have been vaccinated and have looked at the evidence. I am not passing opinion either way all I am saying is that questions should be asked, and more importantly allowed to be asked. If extreme negative views are banned then that creates the ability to say extreme positive opinions and all positive opinions are effectively propaganda as dissent is suppressed.

A BBC report couldn't break the forum rules, I feel sure: I bet this gets deleted from Youtube, but Andrew Bridgen should be reinstated. There have been 21,000 extra heart related deaths in 9 months, or 538 per week. The government want more people on statins. There's an elephant in the room. It's invisible to some.

I would rather attribute any extra heart related deaths to receiving the latest energy bills.

Yeah then they had the audacity to say the rise in heart related problems stems from Covid lockdown, when people couldn't get appointments at GPs and Hospitals, and they wonder why people think there is a big cover up.

Interesting discussion on GB News right now. Laurence Fox is interviewing a couple of people who can reliably be described as experts, two doctors, one English one Jewish. They said there are serious concerns over covid vaccines that are being hidden from the public and that Andrew Bridgen's comments should be investigated. It can only be a matter of time.
