LOL Labour are bankrolled by the Unions.
Donations. The Conservative Party relies on donations mostly from individuals and companies; as well as these sources the Labour Party receives a significant portion of its donations from trade unions.
Unions covered both electoral expenses and maintenance payments, to fund the living costs of an MP. Those Labour MPs who did not receive union sponsorship were instead paid from the Parliamentary Fund of the Labour Party, which was raised in part from unions.
Labour took £1.5M in donations from trade union bosses as grip on party laid bare The Labour Party received £4.7million in total in donations in the last economic quarter, with £1.62million coming from unions.
^^ I could go on but I am sure you understand now why Starmer and Labour have responsibility for the current strikes, Labour were so outraged that Johnson had a sip of wine and the whiff of a birthday cake while people where dying of Covid ...... yet Starmer/Labour don't give a fuck that people are dying at the hands of the Unions who bankroll them .......Double standard hypocrisy .... AGAIN AND AGAIN.
All these lefty idiots who support these commies would sing from a different hymn book mate if one of their family or friends perished due to the lazy commie bastards on strike Hypocrisy is the badge they wear, and they wear it with pride.

Can’t see that Starmer and/or the Labour Party have much responsibility for the current strike issues in the NHS or elsewhere, they’re not in government… LOL Labour are bankrolled by the Unions.

Organisations and people are free to donate funds to any legit political party. Rules are in place to ensure this freedom doesn't get hijacked or abused. All donations are required to be listed. And as the trade union movement set up the Labour Party, it seems likely that they and their members will continue to support it — and they account for a fair number of people.
Conversely — just 10 wealthy people account for a quarter of all donations made by individuals to the Conservative Party since Boris Johnson became prime minister, according to new analysis by The Independent.
The 10 super-rich donors – nine of whom are men – have given a combined sum of just over £10m to the Tories since Mr Johnson entered Downing Street, equalling more than 25 per cent of the £38.6m received from all individuals in the past two years.
Fears have been raised about the power held by the very wealthiest Tory donors after it emerged last week that a group known as the “advisory board” had been developed to connect the party’s biggest financial backers with ministers.

On the face of it, Labour Party funding seems more democratic than that of the Tories — Political debate shouldn’t be something bought by a few very wealthy individuals...

And Unions who are crippling the country, emergency service striking putting lives at risk.

The government don't run the NHS. Th NHS has a vast structure of managers who are meant to run it. The government only pay the bill - and it's a vast bill that they largely squander.
Most of the workers in the NHS are very well paid with good pensions that they would never match in the private sector.

So you're happy to pit one party's hypocrisy against another's?
Surely the under resourcing of the NHS is a criticism of all parties that have been in power — but perhaps more so the Tories, who have been in power for 12 years and done nothing to improve the situation.
Add to that the blatant disregard of warnings about Covid at the end of 2019, then panicking and dishing out billions to associates, donors and friends for useless protective clothing and testing procedures.
And responsibilities for deaths:
• In England and Wales, the total number of excess deaths, due to all causes, registered between March 2020 and June 2022 was 137,447. • For deaths where the underlying cause of death was not coronavirus (COVID-19), excess deaths were 7,360 below the five-year average
I don't see that by helping to highlight the inadequacies and failings of the current NHS and welfare regimes, Starmer and Labour responsible for current industrial unrest. There's little they can do to alter the situation — they're not in government...

Most of the workers in the NHS are very well paid with good pensions that they would never match in the private sector. The management of the NHS is, at best, variable. But the English NHS is controlled by the UK government through the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), which takes political responsibility for the service. The other countries operate similarly.
If the NHS offers such good pay and pensions, why are so many employees leaving, and why is it struggling to recruit...?
Of the 133,446 vacancies in September 2022, 9,053 (6.2%) were for medical posts and 47,496 (11.9%) were in nursing. Both sectors have seen increases in the number of vacancies from the previous year, in which there were 7,855 (5.6%) vacancies in medical posts and 39,931 (10.5%) in nursing.

And remind us all again, what was Starmer's grand plan?
Oh that's right he didn't have one.
He was a cowering coward on the sidelines he just scored political points at the expense of people losing loved ones to Covid.
He used and abused these people to score political points against the Tories, how low, and how more despicable can you get?
To exploit the deaths of innocent people to get a leg up the political ladder to gain points in the polls is quite frankly bordering on grotesque.
The Tories like most other countries and world leaders had to think on their feet, no one knew what to do, not even WHO, they fucked up with misinformation.
So there you have it.

Starmer's not in government !
The Tories are, and have been for 12 years — though admittedly under several ill-performing leaders, whose shortcomings deserve to be pointed out.
And thinking on their feet has not been a shining example of how to combat the effects of a pandemic, especially when 43 European countries and territories have far more people than the UK, but had fewer Covid-19 deaths...

Thank fuck for that. he aint even likely to be either. The Tories might turn things round — they've got two years to do it. And when the election comes, and if both leaders are still in place, the bulk of the electorate might prefer the quieter approach to choose from.
The Tories previous Churchill and Thatcher tribute acts have only resulted in a party that needs rescuing — which might happen if Sunak's given a chance...

Without Unions financing the Labour party, there would be no real opposition to Tory madness. Some Union leaders want a far left Labour party in office, elections since 1950 show that they have failed in their desires. Ambulances have been queueing up since late 2021, that's before the strikes. www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-59422292
