It truly is shocking what Tory austerity and constant real terms pay cuts for 13 years have done to the NHS. Even more so that some think it will be any different under Starmer. Again, the fact is Wales where both Health and Education are devolved matters m, so Labour has been in charge of both providing health care and the facilities that train its staff for over a quarter of a century, the figures are now, and always have been worse. So I say any who think things will get better under labour need relocating to a postcode west of Offas dyke to receive a dose of reality

I'm sorry, do you think that the state of the NHS now is the same as it was under Labour? 🤔 How are Labour doing running the NHS in Wales?. Would Labour running the NHS in England be any different?

Look it up if you're interested, don't expect me to do it for you. Do you dispute the current issues in the NHS are real?

The NHS in Scotland, England and Wales all currently have all the same issues, irrespective of what country it is in and what Political Party is in control. Your 'zany' idea that all the problems in the NHS would be solved if we had a change of political party in charge have, like many of your ideas, no basis in reality.

The problems in the NHS would be solved by putting more money in to cover the increases in attendances. Don't matter which government. The difference is that Tory supporters all talk about efficiency savings while Labour supporters talk about tax rises. So it depends on which you believe.

Well I believe what happens in the real world - Scotland has tax raising powers and can put more money into the NHS if it wishes. Yet its performance is no different.

I agree Scotland Wales and NI have smaller populations and have fewer people to treat and should be more efficient than England's NHS as we have a much larger population , that as I see it is the problem, in all four countries is because the NHS is badly run and organised it is inefficient , that is what needs to be addressed firstly IMHO, more money has been pumped into it over the years and that makes very little difference, it needs to be run better and cut out the waste. All the politicians do is use it to score points when a GE is due, I remember that man Blair shouting 24 hours to save the NHS, well Labour was in charge for 13 years and they made very little difference to the NHS, money alone will not solve the problems in the NHS

So fuck all to do with the frogs sending us their dross?
So fuck all to do with the eu trying to punish us as we had the balls to leave their little club?

1. It didn't help, but things were clearly bad and getting worse prior to the pandemic. The lack of social care is also an issue which has been allowed to fester. 2. No. (And no need for the racist language. You are better than that.) 3. No. We had a lot of EU workers return home, partly because of the pandemic and partly because of Brexit. Not because of the EU. (I don't even follow your logic on that one?)

The Tories are having to pick up the pieces from Labours utter incompetence.
Blair giving contracts to GPs that more or less lets them pick and choose if they want to work or not, with a guaranteed £85,000 a year even if they never lift a stethoscope.
Is it any wonder the NHS is stretched to capacity, people who can't get to see these useless lazy arse GPs are having to go to hospitals A&E, or out of hours walk ins, it's the GPs causing the strain on the NHS, thanks to dickhead Blair/Labour.

They have the same problems, but i tell you now, they have always been worse than in England. Waiting times for Cancer Referrals at Velindre and Eye surgery at Cardiff and Newport compared to Bristol for exampe. And you can't compare ambulance times as Wales ditched the targets becuase they never met them. It is a solid fact that the NHS in Wales under Labour is far, far worse than the NHS in England under anyone has ever been.

The eu have done fuck all since we left their cozy little club apart from trying to persecute the UK for doing so.
